Holes are a smidge too large. The trying to strain fine noodles, rice, you lose too many. Maybe a light screen covering the inside of the lid, similar to a strainer.

I love the pot, however Ihave a white film on the inside of the pot that Won’t come off. I cooked beans and escarole. I washed 3 times with dish soap and a paper towel. It won’t come clean. What do you recommend?

Beautiful pan! But if you want to make soup in it and keep the cover tight, it won't work as the steam escapes. Also, I place pot in refrigerator and using the cover, it is not sealed.

The coating on my old non-stick pot was beginning to peel off so I went for a quality name. The pot is too new to judge, but it feels sturdy, cleans up well and the perforated top allows me the strain the pasta in the pot. So far, so good. Thank you.

The pot was not that heavy and it didnt took long for the pasta to be fully cooked. It also has holes so it can steam out. Also it was soo easy to clean because it was non stick. I definately recommend this product

Just make your pasta and use the locking lid to strain the water. This pot is also good as a stock pot for making soups and has measurement markings on the inside to make things even easier. So happy with this pot!

Everything is so well thought out from the strainer to the locking lid. I am embarrassed to admit i have dumped pasta in my sink after cooking. Not with this lid that hooks onto the pot and locks for easy straining. The material is quality cookware that we will have for years. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make no mistake about it, this pot is made for pasta. It’s easy to use with long side handles so you don’t get scorched by the heat. It’s not too heavy but not light like a feather, which i prefer because you want to feel a little weight when cooking. Things don’t stick and the holes on the lid allows for easy discard of the liquid inside. It’s great if you’re trying to make stock as well, so you can just pour the liquid into containers. The holes aren’t that big but there’s enough of them to make sure it strains well and quickly. Great addition to the kitchen.
