Quality is great per usual! But the concept doesn't work at all. Where the strainer & Pot meets the liquids or water leak out of it. (Making a HUGE mess). I assumed I would be able to fill the liquids up to the top near the lid. NOPE. You pretty much have to keep any liquids way down below the the strainer. I should have just bought a stock pot cause this was pretty unless. For reference I used/bought this for a Seafood Boil.

I cannot recommend these pots. I have the 6 and the 12. After just a few months of regular use mine are staining and pitting. These are not made of the usual quality/grade All-Clad stainless steel. This is a problem because, for some reason, almost nobody makes these extremely useful pots.
Don’t be scared of SS! It’s great!

Conducts heat well. A nice surprise is the theory bottom of the pot not burning. I've made chicken soup three times in the last two weeks. Great purchase.

I bought this item over a year ago and I’ve been a little bit hesitant about reviewing it because I’m still not loving it. I’ve been giving it a chance but it’s time to share my experience. Most of my cooking pots are ALL CLAD. However, this is the one that I haven’t been able to completely make use of it. when I use it no matter how high or low I fill the pot with water and I place the strainer inside the pot with boiling water, it boils over specially when I add the food inside the strainer. The water spills all over my range. I gave up and I’m only using the pot without the strainer.

The two Simply Strain pots were given as gifts to a family member who is in the process of transitioning to an induction stove. There is past positive experiences with All-Clad products thus leading to the choices made. The target in the kitchen is in the process of a total re-model, so there hasn't been an opportunity as yet to use either of the new pots.

I’m glad that I found this pot with a strainer for pasta that was induction ready. I also use it to steam cauliflower for mashing. I love the quality of my new shiny pot and the measurements in quarts inside the pot are very helpful.

I love this pan, I had a tall, thin spaghetti pot previously and couldn't use it anymore because I purchased a convection oven. I used this pan for pasta. The pasta was not crowded in the pan, the strainer made the draining of the water easy, clean up was a breeze. I can't wait to try steaming vegetables and crab legs in it.

Made with such good craftsmanship. Although it took a while to get the water boiling the first time I used it, it’s very good pot. I love the inpot strainer and that it can be used with or without it depending on your needs. The pot is one that’s is gonna last for years!
