Can't speak for how good it is for the plants. They're not dead. But the smell is awful. Like a sewage pipe burst. Not a good choice for indoor plants.

I used this soil to start some flowers I want to put outside this summer. My plants are growing beautifully! The soil is rich, holds water, and is easy to plant in. I will be using this brand of soil again.

Doesn't break down, causes mold as other reviews have noted. Luckily i bought it on clearance but now i have bags of stuff i cant use

Hi Bodhi! Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience. Mold is not typical with our Organic All-Purpose Plant Food. However, in shaded areas, the mycorrhizae in the formula can sometimes lead to mycelial growth on the soil’s surface. This is a natural occurrence and can be gently fluffed to disperse it. It makes the plants flourish and flowers grow so gorgeous in under a week. It's also pretty cheap. I used it in my flower bed as well and all my plants flourished! Highly recommend!

Would not recommend. This left mold on multiple of my plants, and it stinks to high heaven. The first time it happened i thought it was a fluke, but t happened two more times. The directions even say that it can be sprinkled evenly on top of the dirt, so I don’t really understand why there is so much mold. Very upsetting and I feel so bad for my poor plants. I put it at the bottom of some pots when I was reporting some of my plants, and I really hope there isn’t mold there too.

Hi Kayli! We are sorry to hear you're having trouble with our plant food. You want to sprinkle it evenly on top of the soil, gently mix it in the soil, and water as normal. Our plant food has a high concentration of root-boosting mycorrhizae so you might be seeing mycelium not mold. It smelled like trash. Almost immediately had mold. I moved it outside because of the smell and it was immediately infested because of the stench.

I did use the all purpose plant food and so far my little baby seedlings are doing great! So I can say that the plant food is helping and I would recommend using it!
