Baxter of California Cream Pomade 2 oz

Great product. It is very versatile. I think it is best on dry hair after prestyling and blowdrying. The key is to take a small amount and warm it up until clear and it applies very very smoothly and really does smooth and give a natural shine. I would say its more of a medium hold personally. When used this way it is amazing for casual styles for medium ish length thick wavy hair. Ive been using this more than clay pomade actually even though I think clay pomade is the best in baxter line up!

I’m not sure if this product is for me. It doesn’t do much at all. Sorry Baxter..love most of your products but this cream is just that, a cream and mostly just color. I’ll get something that gives a little definition next time.

I was a user of the Soft water pomade before. I like This Cream pomade as well but there was something I liked more about the Soft Water pomade.

Love the product. it's a good mix of not looking too styled and rigid. It still gives some hold/definition even if you run your hair through it. For some reason it's difficult to find and goes out of stock quite a bit.

Does what it says, light hold, normal finish. Smell is subtle.

Controls my long hair without making it hard shiny. I use it everyday. Couldn't ask for anything more.

This is the best. The best. Holds short wavy hair in place but doesn’t weigh it down or get greasy!

I was heart broken when it was discontinued during C19 lockdown and elated when I saw it was available again. It works great for my hair type which is wavy and sadly thinning. Washes out easily. I work in an office so it lasts me all day. I do have to touch it up during the summer months though.

Confirmed that they recently changed their formula for this product, I noticed it right away it’s the same hold and it’s slightly greasier looking too. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Love this stuff. Light and invisible, works well. Nice smell. But no longer available in the UK, without paying a lot for postage, frustrating

I've tried a number of different "hair products" go give a light hold that still holds. Baxter Cream Pomade is by far the best product I have found. And I've tried a dozen products. Does not look like there is anything on my hair but holds remarkably well.

I've used this for years and it worked perfectly. The jar I just received is like paste--- hard to apply and it feels like my hair is cemented in place. What's happened?

A great pomade. Lightweight, user friendly. A little goes a long way.

I used this product for many years prior to the recent shortage and interruption in production (end of 2022-mid 2023). Now that it’s back in stock, I was disappointed to find that it’s a slightly different product that doesn’t replace the prior formulation. It’s slightly dryer and less moisturizing, somewhat resembling the hard cream pomade. It is a more matte finish and I will probably look for a replacement again.

This is the best cream pomade for my hair. I have tried 4-5 other products and brands and nothing works like this. I even tried the Baxter styling paste but it is not the same. I check on this product every few months but remains unavailable.

This product is the absolute best. A tiny amount does the job and leaves my hair, looking very natural. It maintains my wavy hair and provides a perfect hold so that my hair isn’t all over my face. The DOWNSIDE: the product has been out of stock for months. I’ve tried other products, and they are simply not the same. Hopefully this will be restocked soon.

Excellent hair cream, but not available for the last few months it seems. Bring it back please!

The best hair product Baxter offers for my hair bar none. Love it. And I've tried a lot of them from many brands. The other one I love is Magic Move, but it's hard to find. In any case, I'm digging this more.

Stays creamy while many others harden up over time. Excellent product. Light to medium hold.
