The trade-off to be so thin is the length. This guy is decently long — about a foot. Just something to keep in mind. I love the color though! Girlfriend approved.

I love the look of the toaster but it does not fit thick slices of bread and it does not fit two slices side by side. I have had it for two months and was hoping it would grow on me but it has not. I also think it does a poor job of toasting the bread. One side is more toasted than the other occasionally I believe the size/thickness and uniform slicing of the bread plays a factor.
