Q: How big are the individual drawers? What can it fit?

A: The inside dimensions of each drawer is about 1" x 1 1/4" and 1" deep. HOWEVER - there is a little tab hanging down into the drawer that keeps it from sliding all the way out. The tab looks to be about 1/4" long.

This is a lovely little thing, but mine came missing a drawer. Target's CS options are to keep it or get a full refund and return it. I'm pretty sure they could exchange, but that isn't something they are offering, which is lame. I'll have to search a craft store or get hubby to fabricate a box. Not impressed with the CS on this one!

The advent calendar was poorly put together. Several pieces were glued slanted, glue was displayed all over the item, and the little doors are too small to put anything in them. Unfortunately, we will be retuning.

We have not had any problems and we have had this for a few years now. My kids love being able to turn it on and it looks so beautiful and cheerful once it’s lit. The little drawers are perfect for us to put slips of paper in (we do activities instead of candy).

Like another reviewer stated - the drawers are super tiny. A Hershey kiss will just fit. It will be a challenge to find items to fit but I look forward to taking on the challenge. The detail is so intricate. It is a beautiful piece and I’m pleased with my purchase.

I wanted to love this, very pretty. However the boxes are soooo tiny, can barely fit one Hershey kiss in the drawers. Also drawers broke, probably from us trying to squeeze items in them.

I love the idea of this. It’s very beautiful. However when it arrived it was missing a couple pieces and it’s very delicate. If it was higher quality I would have given it a 5. Overall it’s beautiful but be careful.

The product is great. I got it to give my sister next year, from the family. She has three granddaughters which works out great. Each one is responsible for supplying little treats or gifts for 8 of the 24 days. It will look great on the mantel in her home.
