[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Bestway 58498E Flowclear 1500 gallon sand filter pump and it's perfect for my above- ground pool! I hooked it up to my 3000- gallon pool and it kept the water clean and clear. The pump was easy to set up and fill with sand. It is a low-maintenance pump and keeps my pool cleaner than my regular pool pump.

While I do not have my pool up anymore since it is winter where I live I can not fully review it but I will review the information I got from the box and how it compares to a regular pool pump. So the regular pumps the pool come with are usually not that great! They barely do the minimum for the pool. That’s why we purchase accessories that help maintain our pool. I’m excited to use this pool pump when the time comes because it has great features that will make cleaning our pool easy! I love how you can just turn the handle to different setting for example the drain feature. That makes it easy to use in my opinion! I also love the basket because that’s one of the accessories I had to buy for my pool so it seems it is all set up well to catch all the dirt/big residue in the pool. I will come back here and add pictures when I have it set up! We are excited to try it out because we have been talking about upgrading to a sand filter!

This is a must-have upgrade over the worthless pumps that usually come with an above ground pool. Very easy to flush and no more buying/replacing filters!
