A: The BISSELL Featherweight is meant for carpet and rugs, low pile carpet, stairs, carpet, area rugs, bare floors, sealed hard floors, and sealed wood floors.

I bought this vacuum a little over three years ago for my dorm room. It's a great price, and I just needed something small to pick up dust, hair, and crumbs. I did not expect it to last this long, but three years later, I'm happy to report that this vacuum is still just as great from when I bought it! I still use it daily, but now for my apartment. The thin plastic attachement that it came with does a great job at cleaning baseboards and other tricky to reach spots. I also love how easy it is to clean this vacuum. I've thought about upgrading to a larger, fancier vacuum, but I'm honestly so satifisied with the results of this one that I don't feel the need to replace it until it finally burns out. High recommend if you're on the hunt for a reliable, afforable vacuum for smaller spaces!

Hardwood floors with a few rugs. Brush not rotating anymore, took it apart and cleaned cat hair and threads from around it. Did not fix it.

This featherweight does what I need for a quick clean of the kitchen and bathroom floors. We have no carpet, all wood and tile floors. If you're looking for a machine that can do carpet, this is not the tool.
I have a another vacuum that does the rugs. It is lightweight, does edges well, picks up food crumbs, hair, dust efficiently, and the cup is easy to remove and reattach.

It has an easily to detach hand vac, the canister is simple to empty and the suction is good. I do, however, wish the power brush was easier to clean. Hair gets wrapped around it and it takes a lot of effort to cut it off. Also the cord could be a little longer so there's less plugging in and out.

I did like how it’s very light and easy to store, and it’s great when it’s working; however, it isn’t usable after only a few months. The brush stopped spinning so it isn’t picking up anything anymore. So bummed. But yea, you get what you paid for. Save your time & money, and get a better vacuum instead.

This thing is trash. It doesn't pick up 99% of anything and what it does pick up, if you lift the head off the surface, the material just falls out. Do not buy.

Lasted less than one year with minimal use before motor or something electrical started burning. Nothing was clogged. Target return window expired, so going to contact manufacturer and inquire about warranty.
