Bissell IconPet Turbo Edge Cordless - 3177A: Stick Vacuum, Multi-Surface, Pet Hair, Tangle-Free, 50 Min Run Time, 2 Yr Warranty

I loved my bissell vacuum. Had it for a few years. Great quality, glides smoothy on the floor and had good control when moving the head on the floor. Nice rolling wheels as well. But the vacuum game changer for me was the light. You could see all the crumbs and know your floor was left clean. We didn't have pets but children to clean up after. Then a few year after buying it the battery lost strength and no longer gives us enough to operate. I tried reaching out to buy a battery because the unit is still in perfect condition but disnt hear back. I can't bear to throw it into the landfill. So we ended up buying a Dyson stick because others rave about them, and the batteries last longer. The Dyson definitely has much better suction then my Bissell but I do miss everything else about my Bissell. If Bissell would sell a replacement battery that didn't cost the price of a new vacuum, I would probably sell the Dyson. But Dyson is now selling stick vacuums with a light and replaceable batteries so that is definitely a game changer as well. Thank you Bissell for the great stick vacuum experience, but sad you don't have a battery replacement, and that we are required to just throw our vacuums into the landfill.

The IConPet has great suction for cleaning next to baseboards and slim profile allows me to get clean under my couch and other furniture. Disappointed to find the vacuum does not stand up on its own (which explains the need for the wall-hung charging unit). Have only used it once so far and was surprised/disappointed that the battery showed ~1/3 battery drain after ~10 minutes of usage. Will see how well the battery holds up with further use. Overall, am pretty pleased with it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The IconPet turbo makes me want to vacuum. It's incredibly powerful and easy to use. We have a couple rugs and vinyl planking in our home. We also have two dogs. Overall the unit and the attachments are quality made. The lights are extremely bright too. Absolutely worth the extra dollar. The battery lasts throughout the whole house. The canister is relatively easy to empty and clean with water which is a plus. I searched reviews for the perfect vacuum and found it. I highly recommend this vacuum #sweepsteaks

This vacuum stopped working 6 month after purchase. Very expensive and now I can’t return or exchange. I don’t recommend it, $400 wasted.

Extremely short battery duration even at mid power, poor suction with longer floor power broom fitting (and yes, I've troubleshooted filters, clogs, etc.), one ends up pushing debris around the floor instead of vacuum picking it up. Very disappointing performance.

I purchased the Bissell ICONpet cordless vacuum, and within less than two years, the main plastic vacuum tube broke. I didn't even use it heavily during that time. While things do break, what's truly disappointing is how the company handled the issue. I received the vacuum in January 2022, and it broke around September 2023. When I filed a warranty claim in mid-December 2023—well within what I thought was the two-year warranty period—they told me that the warranty started from the order date in early December 2021, not the delivery date. This meant they considered my warranty expired. Customer service offered no real help other than suggesting I buy the replacement part for over $80. They were firm in stating that their "warranty policy" wasn't negotiable. First, it's unreasonable that the warranty starts from the order date instead of the delivery date, especially with shipping delays around the holidays (it took almost a month to arrive). Second, this issue is clearly a product design flaw, as many other customers have reported similar problems soon after purchasing. Rather than taking responsibility and helping customers fix a known defect, Bissell hides behind their warranty terms to avoid accountability. For your own sake, consider choosing another brand. This company's approach to customer service and product support is unacceptable.

The handle shape allows me to vacuum under furniture without bending down to the floor. Picks up shed hair from 3 dogs, should be 4.5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the earlier version of this stick vacuum about 8 years ago. It works very well, though was a little heavy, and when used on the high setting it only got about 25-30 minutes of use, tops. Over the years I bought replacement parts for it including the stick itself and a hard floor roller amongst other things. Recently, the chargable battery is failing - it needs a new one. Guess what? The model of this vac is discontinued and the battery is not replaceable. Bissell offered me a 20% discount on a new product, but they are all designed like this, with obsolescence built in. So now the whole thing is trash, including all of the parts I bought for it. I am beyond frustrated due to the money we spent on it. I am going to buy a Ryobi with a replaceable battery (what a concept!), as it was recommended by Wirecutter.
