A: Hi Lindsey, We always recommend following the directions on the can, no matter what type of water that you use. Heating the water to 100 degrees helps the mixing process along!

A: Hi Bridget, There are no palm oils in Bobbie Organic Gentle, however the fat blend contains low erucic rapeseed oil. The reason we use a blend of organic, non-GMO, solvent-free oils, including coconut oil, is to mimic breast milk's fatty acid profile and meet the nutritional needs for your baby's growth and development. A: Hi DeShyla! Every baby is different, so there’s no right or wrong way to combo feed with breastmilk and formula. Heavy metals exist naturally in our environment and some are crucial for healthy development in the correct quantities, such as iron! While heavy metals in infant formula are low (often below detectable levels) Bobbie tests every lot of infant formula for heavy metals. We use reputable laboratories and third-party, independent certification through the Clean Label Project to give our customers peace of mind that they’re receiving high-quality, safe infant formula.

Q: Is it normal for this formula to cause dark green, watery stools? This happens about once a day and isn’t constant like diarrhea. Also, baby doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort with gas, reflux or bowel movements.

A: HI HSD! When transitioning from one formula to another, it is not unusual for a child to have a period of up to a week or a bit more than a week. The ingredients may be different and a child’s gastrointestinal tract needs a period of adjustment to digesting these different ingredients. Stool patterns such as frequency, color, odor and consistency may be different as your child adjusts to the new formula. We recommend speaking to your child’s healthcare professional on any concerns you may have regarding symptoms your child may experience on the different formulas. A: Hi Connie, If you are planning on stocking up, you can expect to receive cans from our site that are at least 6 months from their specific USE BY date. However, most often, the timeframe you would have to use the product is much longer than that. If you want to be sure of the USE BY date before you purchase, visit your local Target store, where you will be able to check the USE BY date on each can before you purchase it.

My daughter did well on Bobbie organic when we supplemented but got quite gassy. We switched to gentle and she’s done so well. This is the only formula I’ve ever thought smelled good. It’s harder to mix than other formula but dissolves in warm water better.

It was already super expensive but raising it ANOTHER 2 bucks is wild, its a very very small can. If my son was not combo fed we wouldn't be buying this...switching to a different brand all together now they hes getting older. The price increases are significant and not worth it.

Good formula but very hard to mix. Even with super warm water, it stays clumpy and I consistently find formula clumps after my daughter is done eating. And we shake it HARD! We have even used a blender bottle and it is still clumpy. It's good though. My kids have all had sensitive tummy's so we automatically went with the gentle formula and I think it's the right choice for us. We also like the ingredient list. It's as close as you can get to a European style formula without actually getting a European formula.

I love this formula for my baby. He was originally on Enfamil Gentlease but that one made his stools too runny and then I switched him to Kendamil but he got constipated on that one. So we decided to give Bobbie Organic Gentle a try and I’m so glad we did my baby loves it and it’s so gentle on his tummy. Although it’s a little on the pricier side, it’s so worth it! I just wish they made a 24oz can for the Organic Gentle since my baby goes through it quick, that’s the only down side, but other than that best choice I’ve made for my baby.

Switched from Similac 360 and Sumilac Gentle due to gas and crying and life is no wonderful. Love this formula and it smells delicious. Also my baby still loves my breasmilk so it's wonderful for combination feeding. You just have to shake well to avoid lumps.

We’ve been using the original bobie but I decided to try this because my baby has sensitive tummy and spits up a lot. Not sure how this is marketed as gentle. My baby was so gassy and fussy and on so much pain while on this formula. Spit up a ton. His poop diapers smelled so bad I couldn’t chnage them I would literally gag. And the formula barely mixes int he water it’s gross. I also found my baby not really wanting to drink as much. I switched back to the original

After a month of triple feeding, pumping every 2-3 hours, I finally figured out that I would never be able to breastfeed my baby due to insufficient glandular tissue. So I began to research all the options for formula. Turns out most of the option available are terrible. As an organic farmer, it’s so important to me that my baby isn’t exposed to pesticides through her formula. Once I found out Bobbie is certified pesticide free, I know it was the best option out there for us. The subscription model makes it much easier for our family as well! I still wish I could breastfeed, but I’m so glad I can depend on Bobbie to make sure my baby is properly nourished!

I am very happy with this formula. I love the clean ingredients and the fact that it is made in the US. My baby has had less gas and reflux on this formula than she did on my breastmilk. My only complaint is the smell and taste when the formula is cold or room temp (metal-like smell and taste, I think due to the added iron) but this goes away once the bottle is warmed.
