If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid: Press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. If the indicator is on the underside of your pitcher’s lid: Under the icon for your filter type, press and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. The light stop working before I even get to replace the filter once. It says that you should replace the filter after 115 but the green light gets activated every time in pour a glass of water or a 16oz water bottle. How does it know how much water I’ve poured. very tricky. I didn’t like the product.

IT'S A PITY BECAUSE WE LIKE IT AND THE COLOUR AQUA IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT I WISH THEY WOULD REPLACE THE BOTTOM PART SO WE CAN RECYCLE THE TOP. IT'S THE SECOND TIME THE BODY CRACKS IN 2 DIFFERENT MODELS.

Very Good for Drinking - Not for Coffee

re: Tahoe with Elite Filter Installation went fine and everything works. Drains fast - about 5 minutes to completely drain the top filled to max line. Straight drinking water tastes very good but not quite as good for making coffee as my distilled water with .26g baking soda + .64g magnesium /gal mixture. In a blind test my wife actually preferred the Brita water to the distilled mixture as straight drinking water compared to the flat taste of the distilled water mixture. Apparently coffee doesn't work well with too many minerals especially my very hard water here in Southern Coastal California. A few suggestions for Brita. Since a lot of people seem to have difficulty firmly seating the filter I would suggest a locking bayonette type filter mechanism with visual locking marks. This way ikne could both feel and see the filter lock in place. Secondly, please offer a glass pitcher in order to avoid any possible PFAS bleed into the filtered water. I don't know of this is an issue or not but I would sure like to see a test. Speaking of PFAS, I was amazed to see that the Elite filter is certified for PFAS reduction under NSF/ANSI standard 53 according to Brita's performance data sheet. If this is really true I am amazed that Brita doesn't market this aspect of the filter. If I am reading the certification correctly, if the incoming water contains 1.5ppb PFAS the Brita Elite filter will remove 98.1% of it. I presume this means that if the incoming water contains a greater concentration of PFAS than 1.5ppb then the 98% removal won't be enough to meet the standard. Do have that right Brita?

After getting the replacement filter at the 6months, the sensor stopped working. Tried the troubleshooting but nothing. Not that the sensor is filtering the water but come on. So now I just use the pitcher to fill my Berkey filter.

Plastic parts are thin and brittle. Clear packaging tape can cause breakage if you don’t see it. Lid should have a label showing “getting started” instructions. Where is documentation on changing the battery for the indicator? Is it a sealed part?

To begin troubleshooting, take a look at your pitcher to determine where the indicator is located. If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid: Press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. If the indicator is on the underside of your pitcher’s lid: Under the icon for your filter type, press and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. Happy With My Latest Brita Filtration Pitcher

I have used Brita Filter Pitchers since 1991. This latest pitcher is my 3rd pitcher in those 33 years. I don't like the taste of the tap water where I live. I find that the Brita filters take out the unpleasant chlorine taste of my tap water so the filtered water really tastes good. This particular pitcher replaced one that I used for 11 years and accidentally dropped on my kitchen floor. (I need carpal tunnel surgery) I like the transparent holding reservoir which I fill with the tap water and that water eventually goes through the Brita filter and down into the lower pitcher so that I can see how much water I'm adding to the pitcher. The newest Brita pitchers don't have a hinged flap at the spout as the older ones did, which is a good thing. The filtered water pours out of the pitcher with no problem. I like the way this pitcher looks and its handle is comfortable to hold. I will always have a Brita Filter Pitcher in my refrigerator full of clean tasting, refreshing water.
