Q: Hi. I purchased 9/2023 & my light hasn’t turned red. Is this normal? Filter life says 6mths. Thank you.
A: Ayanna, thank you for reaching out about the timer on our Tahoe Pitcher. Your timer may need to be reset as the red light should come on with the Elite filter after 6 months or 120 gallons. If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid: Press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. If the indicator is on the underside of your pitcher’s lid: Under the icon for your filter type, press and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. Q: Why does my pitcher smell and taste like chemicals? It was fine to start out but has gotten bad even though the light is still green when we pour water.

Q: Can the lid be submerged in hot soapy water for cleaning? Is the battery sealed for this? This would seem to be the best way to clean the lid.

Q: Does the Elite filter remove microplastics?
A: Great question, Rob! The Elite Filter included with our Tahoe Pitcher is certified to reduce microplastics (defined by NSF/ANSI 401 as particles from 0.5 to 1 micron) as well as PFOA and PFOS. Q: My pitcher doesn’t show a red yellow or green light anymore? How can I fix it? It was green before it stopped working?

To do so, press and hold down the reset button under the icon for your filter type for 5 seconds, then release the button when the light flashes three times. Q: How do you replace the filter
A: Sandi, thanks for asking! We're happy to help you change the Elite Filter in your Tahoe Pitcher. First, remove the lid and discard your old filter or save it to use in our free recycling program. Rinse your new filter under cold, running tap water for 15 seconds. Insert your new filter by lining up the groove in the filter with the ridge in the reservoir. Press firmly for a tight seal.
