Q: Is this product non comedogenic?

A: I recently switched my face moisturizer of choice as my last moisturizer ended up clogging my pores. After discovering this, I decided to give this Burt bee’s moisturizer a try and it didn’t clog my pores at all. I’ve been using it for two weeks, and I can see it made a huge impact on my pores. I’ve been overwhelmed trying to find a new face cream. Dealing with combination, sensitive, red skin and enlarged pores. Maybe this wasn’t the best choice for my needs, but I saw this and it was much more affordable than other creams and I couldn’t resist…I also love all other products from this brand I’ve ever tried. It went on nicely and had a nice feel to it, and I experienced a pleasant, slightly floral smell. However my face is now slightly itchy all over AND my forehead pores look like craters after putting it on! I’ll just use it as hand cream now, not on my face again

I have been using this for a couple of weeks and so far, I'm loving it! It plumps up and calms my mature skin. I have not used the old formula, which many reviewers seemed to have loved. However, I noticed that old formula had denatured alcohol and some other stuff that I wouldn't have wanted. This new version has great ingredients smells good to me. FYI, the ingredients listed on the web page still reflect the old version, which did cause me some confusion. The box I bought contained the correct ingredients for what was in the bottle.

It's either a great or a terrible. I just started using this lotion last winter and finally found something that matched what I was looking for and didn't make my skin peel or break out. After a couple bottles I bought a new one and it smelled totally rancid, like when my cooking oil goes bad. I returned that bottle and bought a different one at a different store, being sure to smell it first. It was fine. Then I ordered one online and it took smelled rancid. I don't know what the deal is but this is really annoying. It either smells pleasantly natural or like putrid, rancid oil.

My friend got me this as a gift and I was very disappointed when i squirted it it was a gel like liquid that came out with little white pieces in it. I tried shaking it and that didn't work either.

Seems they have changed the formula for this. I’ve used this product for a decade and never had an issue. Now, I’m breaking out as bad as I did in high school. I’m using a different product now, and the breakout is going away. Not a fan of this new formula. Will not buy again.

For people saying Clorox now owns this item as if they didn’t before, doesn’t do their research. They have been owning this brand as well as Hidden Valley Ranch, KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce and Soy Vay Teriyaki Sauce to name a few. Doesn’t mean Bleach is in these products. It’s just a subsidiary of the Clorox brand. The product itself is great and that’s surprising for me to say because I have eczema and dermatitis (extremely dry and sensitive/irritated skin) so I can’t use anything that isn’t prescription to moisturize my skin but this doesn’t irritate me and it does help with redness. Feels moisturizing without being oily, no heavy scent but no gross scent either. Price point for amount of product received is on par with the rest of its competitors. I would recommend to anyone with similar issues. I haven’t tried this until recently so I can’t speak to the prior formula, but I did receive this as a gift and I would absolutely repurchase this!

This is very moisturizing and does not irritate my skin which is very prone to eczema breakouts. However, it is the only moisturizer I have ever used that pills so badly! Whether it has been a few minutes or as I'm applying it, it starts to rub off and pill from any disturbance. Very disappointing since I was so happy it didn't make my skin sting or itch.

This new formula is awful! It made me itch and break out so bad. I also noticed that it feels very waxy on the skin and even has a more plastic smell. I loved the old formula and now I'm sad that I have to start the search for a sensitive moisturizer all over again.

I am extremely sensitive skin and this has help me so much. Is the first time a face lotion doesn’t feel burning on my skin. I bought it because my face was out of control and I have a clear face now. The only thing is I have to retouch a few time a day but I am so happy with results.

I have normal sensitive skin prone to redness. And it gets more oily in the summer. I’ve been using this lotion for 4 weeks now and I love it. It’s a great light weight non-irritating moisturizer, that I layer with a sunscreen and my skin never feels greasy, dry or uncomfortable. I just don’t feel anything on my face. Also I decided to make this my regular daily moisturizer, but for a very specific reason - it’s the Burts’s Bees Terracycle program. I try to avoid plastic as much as possible and the fact that only 9% of recycled plastic in the USA is actually recycled and everything else goes into landfill and turns into microplastics, leaves me, as a consumer with limited options, when it comes to facial moisturizers.m. This moisturizer is great for me, but it’s the Terracycle program that helped me make my choice. Thanks, Burt’s Bees!
