  • A: Hello Bill, the myQ app does not have a limit to the number of devices that can be connected. However. the Smart Garage Control will require additional door sensors, and you may only connect 2 door sensors to one hub. I hope this answers your question.

    My husband and I locked ourselves out of our home on a walk one day. After that we decided to make our lives easier being able to control our garage with our phones. This hub is a good price for what you get. The instructions were clear and it was easy to set up. I’m looking forward to buying another sensor for my other garage door now! Make sure your garage door is compatible first.

Can't click neither. Just "yes" or continue without varify. 4) asked to click the 6 or 7 items such as strong signal, Bluetooth, etc... I don't have a wifi opener so I can't click that. And that's as far as you can get in the process. Can't go further. So, I'll just return it. Summery... THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A WIFI COMPATIBLE OPENER

    I use this product myself and I install it professionally for my clients. I like virtually everything about it from the schedule for closing to the ease of installation to the wide variety of garage door openers it works with. My one and only complaint is there is no Alexa skill to allow you to open or close the door with your voice. I understand some safety concerns but I can unlock and lock my Ford F-150 and even start the engine with my voice so seemingly could use the same process to open it and close a garage door.

    I had the black one and it worked like a charm till I upgraded to wifi6. Even though I still selected the 2g wifi, it would never connect to my wifi after that. ALL of my other stuff connects to it, so what's the issue?

    I am so tired of having to reset the program. I have gone as far as installing a mesh router within 2ft of the unit so that there would never be a poor signal and it still fails repeatedly.

    Installation app needs improvement

    At a certain point in the MyQ installation app, I was asked if my garage door opener looks like the image shown, and the only responses are YES and NO. I chose NO, and the unit wouldn't pair. After an hour on the phone with a tech, she recommended that I exchange the unit for a new unit at my local big box store. Same problem. After three more attempts, I pressed YES when I reached that point in the app just to see what would happen, and I was able to continue the installation A short note on that page in the app would have saved a lot of time and frustration: "Your unit might have lights on both sides."

    I just bought this today and installed it in less then 30 minutes, works awesome, Can't tell you how many times I left the house and left the garage door open and had one of my neighbors call me to tell me it was open, and had to give them the code on the keypad! Very happy how it works and was so easy to setup

    Drops signal too often and goes offline. Signal is good....even put an extender 6 feet from the control unit. Second door controller is even more inconsistent with functionality. Going to go with a more reliable product.

    This worked great for about a year and then stopped working saying it was offline. Spent countless hours on the chat , kept getting disconnected from it and having to start over with someone. reset my WiFi password three times. Keeps telling me incorrect password. So frustrating. If you could talk to a person that would help.

    Hello I bought mine on March 2024, I create and account on the App and start to install as the instructions indicate, I have to make the connection to the wifi for more than two hours, something should be easy, the rest was very easy. Star to use it fine send the invitations to co-owners but had some troubles with one, so have to uninstall the app and install it again until it works on all phones. I had a Blink camera on the garage, but it wasn't working fine so I bought MyQ camera on July 2024 so I can manage the door and check it on the same app, but when I tried to install it, I couldn't find on the app where to install because on the app doesn't apear as show on the image. I tried to install other older MyQ apps and also the chamberlain app but it was the same doesn't apear the add video part. then I remove my account and connect with my amazon account and all the app was different. more options including the video. so, I had to make all the installation again from the beginning with the same problems I had with the wifi connection. I am really happy because it is a excellent tool for open your house to family, workers, guest. in combination with smart door locks, and also to get track of movement of you family

    I bought these a couple of years ago and worked great until chamberlain decided to turn off the functionality that I paid for and now these items are worthless to me. Chamberlain decided they wanted to offer their own subscription service while I bought these pieces to work with HomeKit and Homebridge. Now I have paper weights. I went with the Meross system that works great.

    I purchased the original myQ and it worked for a while, though often disconnected from wifi. Frustrated with it I thought I was buying the newer updated version. As others have mentioned, nowhere does it state this version requires your current garage opener to be WiFi enabled. Sad that a product does not make it clear what it’s compatible with.
