This toothpaste is NOT for those with gum issues. My periodontal disease has been stable until I tried this toothpaste because it's cheap. I have an angry sore in my gums now. If you have oral health issues, please look for more specific, targeted toothpastes!! If you have a healthy mouth, this toothpaste is still not great. It does not spread easily and tends to sit on one side of the mouth so it doesn't feel like it cleans well. There is little if any whitening properties. It only has what it needs to keep your teeth cavity free.
