Had this during Covid and ever since I had this it would never show middle digit in 8. Looks like the line in middle does not show up. Any number even 6 doesn’t show up?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box this was one of the easiest thermometers to set up and put together. One of the biggest benefits was that the thermometer came with batteries. It was a simple as plug and play. the operation is very basic but effective. You hold the thermometer between 0 and 2 in of your forehead surface, press the button on the handle and a beep will indicate that your measurement is complete. They do suggest taking a few readings about 20 seconds apart just to make sure accuracy. If you have a fever or if a fever is present on the person that you are recording temperature for the thermometer will beep a few times in a row alerting you to a high temperature. You can adjust the threshold manually. The thermometer powers itself off after about 15 seconds of no button pressing. You can turn it on by hitting the trigger button. Overall a really great product!

I was raised to believe that the only proper way to check for a fever was with a good old fashioned rear-entry thermometer, and have faithfully and exclusively used the one passed down for generations in my family for this purpose. However, times have changed since my family thermometer was first won in a poker game during the drought of 1909, and I am an open minded person who is willing to entertain new dangled gadgetry such as this. I was pleasantly surprised that this thermometer is not only more accurate than Grandpa's "Old Ironsides" model, but also notably more convenient and comfortable. I will definitely be aggressively and randomly recommending this device in every foreseeable conversation over the next few years, using my personal experience for context. It's truly a modern marvel and a bold example of the space-age world we now live in.

The LCD display is very bright and large. It will even alert you if there is a fever. It has a large LCD display and will notify you if the person you are testing has a fever. It even stores previous readings. Great experience!

It stores an enormous amount of prior temperatures to the memory so you can remember what the last reading was. It gives a reading so much faster than a standard digital thermometer and is much more accurate. I love this product and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fool proof thermometer.

I already own a temporal thermometer and the traditional. One of the biggest plus I discovered and liked quiet a lot was able to take temperature without disturbing sick patient. Unfortunately I had a sick child right after this was sent and I was able to monitor her fever at times when she was sleeping. This wasn't possible with the temporal thermometer. It was fast at reading the temperature ...literally with press of a button. And the large display made it easy to read at night. It has memory feature wherein you can store the upto 32 temperatures. Only issue, I found was sometimes it wasn't always very accurate but was close enough when reading the temperatures. I compared its readings with temporal and mouth thermometers. I like its features and functionality enough to recommend it although with a 'heads up'!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lightweight forehead thermometer is quite handy and extremely easy to use. I haven't had the need to use it as of yet, thankfully. But I've played around with the settings and checked random people's temperature and it was pretty straight forward. I don't think it's necessary to have all the different functions but I'm sure others might find it useful. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone he needs a quick and reliable forehead thermometer. My dad in Los Angeles is currently in the hospital due to covid, it would be great if I could test this product on him and my family who's been exposed to covid as well. Unfortunately, I am in Colorado and isolated.

My reading is typically always under 98 degrees while my wife's has been any where from 98.6 down to 96. The directions say room temperature can impact the reading, but I've only used it in one room that with a fairly consistent temperature. It has neat features such as a fever alert, but I don't know that I'd be confident using it alone. It might be a good first indicator before using a more accurate thermometer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Conair care infrared forehead thermometer and immediately upon opening it out of the box I could tell that it was very simple to use. I opened the item and was able to pop in the batteries easily and quickly and turn on the machine. It did not take much to be able to set it up it was easy to follow the directions and I was able to use it within 2 minutes of opening the box. I was able to test its ability with other thermometers in my house so I felt confident that the temperature was accurate. This is a perfect addition to our home as it makes it very quick and easy to take our families temperature. I feel confident that it's accurate and I feel at ease that I have something so easy to use on all of our family members. I highly recommend the Conair care infrared forehead thermometer.

My children take the temperature of everyone entering our home, its a blessing during covid!!!!!! Readings are very accurate! It has a large LCD display and will notify you if the person you are testing has a fever. It even has a 32 memory function to keep track of previous fevers. It is a great tool to have now especially during COVID.

So I've had the thermometer for about a week now, we are a family of 5. During this crazy time of Covid-19 this thermometer is amazing! So much easier and FASTER than the traditional under the arm thermometer! When you have 5 people to check before school and work, this thermometer is a must have! I like that it saves the last temperature taken on the bottom corner of the screen, it actually saves up to the last 32 temperatures. I have checked the accuracy against the traditional under the arm thermometer and they have been really close.

It is the perfect size to comfortably fit in your hand and get a good grip on. It is simple to use, pull the trigger to turn it on, then point it towards the forehead about one or two inches away and pull the trigger again to measure temperature. When you hear the beep, the temperature will show on the display and if you do not want the beeps, it has a silent mode option. You can customize the alert thresholds and keep records for the last 32 readings for tracking profess. The LCD display is large for visibility in the dark and also has fever alert. ConairCare is Precise, Fast and Safe! I love it!

I also use one at work that I do not like at all. I wish we would switch to this brand. It's accurate and not confusing to use. Very user friendly.
