Q: Is it normal for my baby to show 100-104 on her belly/armpit then show normal healthy temp on her forehead/ears, pretty much normal everywhere else I measure?

A: Kimberly our infrared thermometer is calibrated to measure your little one's temp on their forehead only. The thermometer should be placed about 1/2" away from the skin in the middle of the forehead.

A: Yes, but we recommend not measuring the temp as the water is coming out of the faucet. Measure the temp of the water that is in the tub.

This is the most inconsistent thermometer. I used it on my 2 year old and it showed 99.0°. Then I used a rectal one on her which showed 103.3°!

Very inaccurate, I get a range of 104.6-100.1 on the same side taken consecutively. Ear always reads normal or below normal even with an actual fever. Waste of money

Very inaccurate- took temp several times same location, never moved. Started at 103.3 and ended with 99.5. In an infant that makes a huge difference. When rectal temp checked 101.6

Was gifted this as a baby shower gift. At first I really didn’t know all the features until I seen a TikTok. Now, I actually like it. I seen someone say you can check the temp of baby milk! I tried it with ice water and it was pretty cool. Do I feel like it’s accurate 100% no because if I do one side of my baby head and the other it’s different temps. But overall gets the job done

This thermoter is extremely inaccurate. My daughter had a fever of 103.5 according to the Frida baby Arrived at the doctor and she didn't have a fever at all, came home took her temp again and the Frida baby said 103.1. I do not recommend this product at all

We bought this a month ago. Our son has a kidney condition and we have to be aware the moment he spikes a fever. I am more than displeased with this thermometer. It has given us three different readings at one time. The ear will say 98.4 and the forehead will read 102.4. It is extremely unsettling that we trusted this product and certainly can not count on it. We are out the money we spent on it.

The convenience of this product is great. But if you want it to actually be accurate then find something else. I love a lot of Frida baby and Mommy products but this one is NOT GOOD. I currently have a slight fever. But this thermometer reads that I'm normal. It's done the same for my baby baby times. Horrible product.

it's stuck on the ear settings and I've tried to get it to switch to a different mode but nothing has worked. it stopped working a month after purchasing it.

Horrible. Reads different results every single time. I’m sitting here with my very feverish baby as I order a better thermometer for pickup. I have no idea if his fever is 101 or 103.9 as that’s the range I get when checking within seconds of each read. Or maybe it’s much higher and he needs to be seen! This product is dangerous. I’ve read other reviews online that are similar experiences. Get a good rectal thermometer you can trust.

This thermometer gives inaccurate reading for both adults and baby. I had high fever, different brand thermometers were showing 102.5 and 103 F however Frida one was showing 98.3 which was ridiculous. My 10 months old baby had fever and it never showed accurate reading which was dangerous for any baby. It kept showing 97-98 for my baby. How did this get approved for baby? Nobody should use it specially for baby. This inaccuracy can harm your baby badly.

This thing is terrible and never accurate! My daughter felt feverish and this kept saying she was fine, finally did the rectal thermometer and she had a very high fever of 102! This thing kept reading 97.6 or 98.2. We used it again on myself and it was awful with the same inaccurate results!

I had chills, hot sweats and cold chills. For 4 days but kept reading as 98.3. I finally gave up and went to the doctor my temp was 105. DO NOT BUY THIS! We went and purchased a nicer thermometer for baby so if she gets sick I’m not looking at a false temp.

Would not recommend. Long story short- my two year old had a cough and by night time felt slightly warm, went to check his temp and got readings anywhere from ear 97.9-98.6 and forehead from 98.3-102. Used different ears and took a minute between forehead readings in same spot. Very inaccurate and frustrating as my son ended up having a febrile seizure the next morning and it was frustrating not knowing what his real temperature was beforehand. Forehead read 99.7 after the seizure and 102 rectal at the hospital about 15 minutes later (without meds).

This thermometer is so inaccurate! I’ve compared multiple times with other thermometers. It’s miss diagnosed multiple fevers as suggesting there isn’t one when my child is clearly hot and rectal temp is 102 this one says 98. It’s not user error either - Coming from a healthcare prover. I wish I could return it
