Q: Can the buttons on the front be disabled so they aren't accidentally touched when getting the phone out of your pocket?

No, you cannot directly disable the outside buttons on the Iris Easy Flip phone, but you can effectively "disable" them by locking the keypad, which prevents accidental presses on the external buttons when the phone is closed. To do this, navigate to the lock screen settings on the phone itself. The Iris Easy flip has a larger outer screen with better screen resolution and an expandable memory up to 128GB with a Micro SD card (not included), than its predecessor Iris Flip with only up to 32GB.
