Q: The specification for this Crock Pot says it is 1 watt, whereas most other crockpots show wattage MUCH higher. Is this crockpot really that weak or is that an error on the specifications?

We absolutely love our crockpot. It can be a lifesaver. Sometimes you just don’t want to cook. But you also want a home-cooked meal this is your solution. If I’m working from home sometimes it’s nice to start a meal in the morning and have it ready when you shut your computer down. This one works well it’s easy to clean. Didn’t cost a fortune.

I think this product has a fragile electric circuit panel. This is my second slow cooker and again the latest has broken out just out of warranty. I won’t buy again

It got way too hot on the left side and melted the side handle. This (my) unit is not trustworthy enough to leave unattended, it could start a fire. I called Crockpot and because it is "past the warranty period" they wouldn't do anything for me, no discount on a new unit or coupon. That's really poor customer service if you ask me

Coming home to perfectly cooked dinner is an absolute joy. Minimal preparation is needed to achieve amazing meals every time. My 4 quart digital crockpot is the best purchase ever! This is my second purchase in 35 years and only after reading the instructions did I find out the cooking temperature is the same on the Low and High settings~the difference is how long it takes to reach the temperature. Who knew! My only issue is deciding what to cook. Thank you for an amazing product.

I will be using it this weekend. I wanted to design some food that I always wanted to cook in a slow cooker or crock pot. I only wish it came with instructions and a cook book. I do not have one and I need to buy one because it does not come with one.

Used for the first time this morning-- weird smell for first hour. After three hours, three thawed chicken breasts were still almost completely raw! I've had various crockpots for over 30 years and never seen one cook at such a low temp. This model only has three bumps for legs/feet on the bottom so the unit is not stable and can easily wobble. What a terrible design!

The very first time I used it it gave off a very plastic heat smell. It did it again the second time but has gotten better each time. it’s easy to operate and I really like the keep warm option!

I absolutely love the size of this and its oval design. I have used it at least ten times for everything from stews to beef & pork roasts. Meats and veggies fit better with this shape and can slow cook in the juices better as they are more able to spread out. Also, the pot seems a lot more durable than the round ones. If you are in the market for a replacement, I would recommend this slow cooker.
