I wanted to love this coffee maker. It checks all the boxes on paper. But, in real like, it’s LOUD and it takes forever to get warmed up before you can even make your selections and hit brew. I was already considering returning and then the water tank started leaking so that decided it for me.

Pros: Automatically grinds beans when you hit ‘brew’ Super easy to use Brews coffee really fast Offers a wide variety of personal sizes Cons: Hard to clean - the front part of the machine pulls out and the coffee grounds can fall into the machine. Feels like it goes through a lot of water, I am constantly refilling the trough. On the larger size and takes up a lot of room on my counter Super loud, comparatively to other machines I’ve owned No ‘cold brew’ or full pot setting, definitely not ideal for serving multiple people at once The internal discard of the grounds and excess water has to be emptied frequently, and it’s easy to forget as it’s hidden inside the machine Overall I am not in love with this machine. For the price point, I would expect more.

This true brew is TRUE MESS! After every 3 cups made, be ready to clean inside and countertop of coffee and grinds. This is a defect that Delongi will not take responsibility for. They tell you it's a high maintenance machine- Unbelievable! I do not recommend at all!

I love it has different brewing options and sizes, I usually drink a latte so the 3oz it’s my favorite. I've already received compliments from my friends, it looks so nice! Of course makes noise when it's grinding coffee and the size might be a little big for a small counter. I think this is ideal for an office, work space! Being a coffee drinker, I think it's worth it!

Had this coffee maker for 18 months. Only used by me to make 2 cups of coffee per day. I cleaned the machine religiously as suggested. The grinder went. Looked up their 'troubleshooting' manual and attempted to fix. Nope - still wouldn't grind. Tried to contact DeLonghi and they have no record of my registering their product. The suggestion to is PAY to mail it back to them. This is not worth my time and expense. I would expect an expensive coffee maker to last for many years. I suggest you look else where for a well-made product backed by a transaparent and reputable company.

Have had this for over a year now. Replaced all the pod machines. Bit pricey but best replacement for the pod units ever ! Brews amazing freshly ground coffee instantly. Yes theres cleanup maybe once a week but thats the price you pay for great coffee that is ground while you wait and dispensed into a cup. Super convenient and makes great coffee and did i say...no more pods ?

Bought in Nov 2024 and today it stopped working. We tried everything. We disconnected then a factory reset, and still nothing. Struggling to get customer service on the line. Luckily, it broke within 90 days so taking it to Target to see if they’ll accept without a box.

Description: This item was given to me in exchange for my honest review. The Delonghi True Brew is a hot and iced coffee lovers dream. I have only ever used drip coffee makers with preground beans. I was most excited to use the Delonghi True Brew for making iced coffee and it is amazing! I was able to use fresh beans and it grinds them fresh in no time flat! I was able to use my giant tumbler and brew directly into it. Let me tell you it was one of the best iced coffees I’ve had and saved me a fortune. I also brewed hot coffee and you have the choice by ounces, or you can use a carafe. This makes the True Brew so versatile. It came with very simple user friendly directions and I even was able to program the clock and set the auto brew timer with ease. If you love barista style coffee at home fresh and ready for you when you walk out the door this Delonghi True Brew is a must.

It offers a nice brewing experience, since you have a greater ability to customize the end result me If you have a tiny kitchen with limited counter space this would be too much and it can be a little loud but that's expected with the grinding process. It is a little involved to clean and if you're a heavy coffee drinker you'll need to clean it every couple cups which could be annoying if you're having multiple a day. Additionally the automatic shut off feature is a little fast to me and there isn't much of a way to alter the allotted time. I think overall this is a nice gift for a coffee connoisseur due to the customization, the ability to make different sizes, the strength of the end product and the overall fun factor but if you're just an average drinker a smaller, simpler model would be better.

I always drink coffee at home and it’s always been mediocre, but I will never go back to drip coffee & this is better than any single serve maker I’ve ever tried! If something happened to this machine & I had to get a new coffee maker, I would immediately buy this exact one. The taste is just so much more flavorful & fresh. There is no prep or clean up, just press the button and your coffee beans are ground, it brews, and then it discards the grounds & excess water into containers in the inside that you just empty them when the sensor light shows it’s full. I was telling my whole family about how good my coffee is at home now. It’s so low effort & just tastes way better. I also like that you put in how bold you want the cup and how big of a size, and then it uses the proper proportions to get that cup for you. Sometimes with my drip coffee maker, I would make the coffee too watery and this has been incredible every time. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

The built-in grinder is a game changer and it makes brewing whole bean coffee so easy! My dad is an avid coffee drinker and he gets his beans from Vietnam, but the one thing he hated was having to grind his own beans at home. He was so impressed with the grinding function, and he said the drip coffee made from this maker tasted quite similar to the coffee made with a Phin but with less time. The huge approval from my dad is a win. As for me, I don’t know much about coffee but I do love the design of it. Though it is a little bulky and quite heavy, functionality is more important to me. Overall, the DeLonghi TrueBrew is a great drip coffee machine for a quick cup of pick me up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is great for someone who wants the very best fresh cup of coffee, one cup at a time! The beans are ground individually for each cup, right before it is brewed. I think the most significant difference between this coffee maker, and a disposable pod style coffee maker, is that it uses more coffee for a larger cup. Pod style coffee makers just add more water, so a large cup is a weaker brew. You can see the difference in the amount of coffee used, because every time a cup is made a "puck" of grounds is pushed into a waste container. Bigger cups of coffee, have a thicker puck. You can also select how strong you want your coffee to be, choosing between the settings "light" "gold" and "bold" If you prefer buying whole beans, and use the same coffee everyday, this is absolutely the cleanest and easiest way to get freshly ground coffee. The only downside I can see to this coffee maker, is if you like to use different flavors of coffee from cup to cup. Although you can dump some pre-ground coffee down a separate chute, it would be a little inconvenient doing that on a regular basis. All in all, I think this is probably the best premium coffee maker on the market!

I like everything about the coffee maker except....the 8 oz button only puts 5 oz of coffee in the cup and the 12 oz button only puts 8 oz of coffee in the cup, which to me makes them a lot stronger than they should be.
