Description
Why it Works:
Plantar fasciitis occurs when the band of tissue along the underside of your foot, called the plantar fascia, is overstretched and aggravates the attachment at the heel bone. This can cause pain with every step you take.
Dr. Scholl’s® Plantar Fasciitis All-Day Pain Relief Orthotics provide relief by treating the source of your pain. The insoles absorb aggravating shock impact, comfort and protect your foot with added cushioning, and support your arch to prevent the plantar fascia from stretching further so it can heal.
How to Use:
1) Your shoe’s current insoles may be removeable, if they are take them out FIRST.
2) Place the removeable insoles against the back of your Dr. Scholl’s® insole and trim to match the old insole size. If your shoes’ insoles aren’t removeable, cut to your shoe size using the trim guide found on the bottom of your insole near the toes.
3) Place insoles in your shoes’ toes first with the cloth side UP. Ensure the insole heel rests firmly in the heel of your shoe.
Recommend replacing insoles every six (6) months or at first sign of wear.

Q: Hello, I got the Athletic Series Running Insoles and these look very similar. What is the difference between the two? And how is the arch support different from the Running insoles? Thank you.
A: • What is the difference between the Pain Relief For Plantar Fasciitis Insoles for Women and the Athletic Series Running Insoles? Both have been clinically proven to help relieve and prevent plantar fasciitis pain from coming back. The Plantar fasciitis insole for women was tested in multiple types of shoes used in everyday activities. It is constructed specifically to manage the forces and conditions experienced by persons under daily activities and to provide improved foot comfort all day while relieving pain. The Athletic Series Running insole was specifically designed to match the foot needs and forces that occur during running. And it was tested with persons that had developed Plantar fasciitis during their running activities. It is sized for use in athletic footwear to ensure it offers heel and forefoot cushioning and high levels of shock absorption that allowed runners to keep performing their running exercise. • How is the arch support of the Pain Relief For Plantar Fasciitis Insoles for Women different from the Running insoles? Both insoles offer significant arch support with the proper level of cushioning to avoid aggravation to the arch while stopping the overstretching of the plantar fascia that contributes to Plantar fasciitis. The Athletic Series running insole is constructed with increased forefoot cushioning and increased heel shock absorption to withstand the conditions of running as well as midsole support designed to work with the demands of the running gait. Note that the design of an effective insole for plantar fasciitis also requires unique design of the heel cup to properly support and cushion the inflamed heel area that is the consequence of the irritation that occurs at the anterior portion of the heel from the plantar fascia. Both products utilize this design with the difference being greater reinforced elements for the running insole.
