Q: Does the grey lid need to be closed to warm bottle? Want to use wider bottles but bottle water lid does not close with them inside. Will bottle still warm even with lid open?

A: The Dr. Brown's Deluxe bottle warmer does come packaged with bottle storage caps, for both the wide neck and narrow neck bottles. By applying these caps, instead of the nipple/collar, this will allow the grey warmer lid to close. For best warming results, we do recommend the grey lid to be closed.

Had this bottle warmer less than a month and I continuously get H2O error when heating even when it’s full. Only using purified water and still get error. Not great when you have a screaming baby and a bottle warmer that doesn't work.
Buy a different one for longevity.

Had 2. Both quit heating within 4 months. Also, to lift the basket out, you have to put your hand into the heated portion. When filling it, you have to quickly flight the bottle upside down and vise versa when taking off so water doesn’t spill.

Inconsistent heating of bottles. Even with all specifications properly set, the warmer only ends up fully heating the bottle about half of the time. Other times it heats too hot or not enough and the bottle is still cold at the end of the timer. It also does not make a sounds when the timer is done. It is tall enough for full size bottles. I have never used it to sterilize.

Would never recommend this bottle warmer to anyone . It can get too hot or not warm enough it different uses . Often I would burn myself tryna get the bottle out . It becomes too steamy , It’s weird . All it leaks from the back . My entire countertop would have a puddle on it . I returned it right back to the store ! It’s a horrible product.

This was gifted at our baby shower. We exclusively bottle feed and it stopped working in less than two months use. We regularly cleaned it according to the product directions and only ever used distilled water. It also would leak out of the back, especially if you are moving it for tasks like cleaning the counter. Find literally any other bottle warmer

We have had this warmer for 6 weeks, and it has so many issues. The entire machine leaks often. The bottles are either too hot or too cold, even after adjusting time and other settings. We would not recommend this warmer, and will be looking into a return.

Bought it together with the Dr Brown's bottles hoping to avoid any headache with adjusting different brands, but this thing became the worst purchase we made. Couldn't even experience how it works, because it simply doesn't! Leaking from everywhere, and constantly showing an error no matter how thoroughly you follow the instructions or what regime you choose. It just doesn't work at all.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. I did notice that this bottle warmer does leak, but only when the water reservoir is empty. I use this both to sterilize my portable pump parts and to warm bottles. We use advent bottles. This is the fastest and easiest warmer/sterilizer I’ve used. You just have to make sure you have it on the correct setting & input the correct number of ounces when you’re hearing up milk. I would recommend.

I returned my first one because I thought I got one that just didn’t work and leaked. Got my replacement and error H20 keeps coming on when I go to sterilize my bottles although there’s plenty of water in it and it leaks all over my counter. Planning on returning this one and just buying a different brand.

we bought this last year and now it started leaking water and it somehow would get into the control panel area and causing problem to even start the warming process. Our babies still need a bottle warmer but it is such a bad experience that it stopped working only after a year. Unfortunately, it has passed the return window...

Not very convenient. It has water storage in the back, and you don’t know it is low or out of water until it is too late. When you are in a hurry to warm a bottle, it is very annoying. Also the water storage get really gross and is difficult to clean. Finally, it is also supposed to sterilize, but you aren’t supposed to put the bottle nipple in the warmer. So you have to use storage caps, then add the nipple after. That doesn’t sound so bad, but it’s one more thing to wash, and the nipple doesn’t get sterilized.
