Energizer Smart Video Doorbell without Chime: Wireless Bluetooth & Wi-Fi, 2408x1080 Resolution, Night Vision, iOS & Android Compatible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smart video doorbell from energizer works great. The video and sound are clear and I like that I can check the camera from anywhere. However it was not that easy to install and get set up. It did not come with the chime part, once I got that part it made the setup easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a competitor’s doorbell with subscription on our main entry point and we chose this product and cost-effective alternative for the rear entry. In order for us to get this doorbell to work, we purchased a USB-A to Micro B 15-foot Cable to provide power to where we installed the doorbell. We did not have an existing doorbell on our rear entry door. My husband is handy so once we had the cable, he was able to install the doorbell fairly fast and I set up the app in no time. Paring to the house Wi-Fi was fairly easy as well. For the price, I think it’s a pretty good option and would choose this brand/model again.

The installation was straight forward and they provided all the necessary tools to get the job done. I was having issue while connecting the doorbell to the chime in my house, I found out later that it was the wiring issue in my house and it just won't connect properly. The video quality was good and it gave an alert when there was any motion at my front door. However, there were times that it did not pick up any motion and failed to record videos. I think there are still rooms for improvement with their app and perhaps make it compatible with other smart home devices like Amazon Alexa or Google Hub.

This particular one needs a wired connection, I will say that it took me a little bit to get it set up, however, the instructions were pretty clear on how to do that. I love all of the features that this door bell has. You can view live and get motion alerts and you can use your wifi which is nice that I don't need a hub. You can record video and audio, but you will need to purchase your own micro sd card. All in all, this video doorbell does exactly what it was made to do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome video doorbell. It is so easy to install and the picture quality is A plus. The settings can be changed to low to high for motion sensors. I love that you can watch your house from anywhere and speak to a visitor when your away or when you just dont want to be bothered. If you want to go back through the day and watch your camera then you will need an micro SD card but their fairly cheap and well worth it to run with the doorbell camera. The app to watch your doorbell video is easy to access and pretty self explanatory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer connect Smart Video doorbell Was something we chose for our doorbell to replace our camera. It functions well from a physical door bell And the sound from the inside is heard very well throughout our 3000 sq ft home. The sensor for the camera picks up movement very well, especially when placed on medium sensitivity. It also takes the photo at that snapshot and stores it in the phone. It picks up motion of our car coming out of the garage which is about 6 feet away and also the delivery men which my camera would not sense. The video and images on camera are clear. The app has great option to record video on your phone, speak through it, and take photos. However, The main issue for three stars is that the connection to app can be finicky and not connect to the camera or is slow to load up. It can take up to five minutes to connect or not connect At all. Sometimes it’s quick but other times nothing loads. If you try to speak from the app it’s runs slow or does not connect. Most functions from an interactive approach lack because of the bad connection. The doorbell itself functions well in ringing and taking pictures but the software needs to work better to make the doorbell complete. Overall, the Energizer Smart Video doorbell needs some improvements for it to be fully functional and useful.

But, for now, we are enjoying every minute of spying on our pets in different rooms of our home. The connectivity was super simple: 1.) Download the Energizer connect app, and then 2.) Hunt down a microUSB cord to power the device for connection to your phone and ultimately WiFi. Done! The video quality is great, and you can choose to listen in, speak out, photo, or video record. And then there are additional settings for motion detection. Great value. Win win win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Energizer Connect Smart Video Doorbell Without Wireless Chime Was a little difficult for me to install but it was a combination of my old, outdated doorbell wiring and my inexperience. The app was easy to install on my IPhone 8 and it’s very user friendly. I love the doorbell to see when I receive packages or if someone rings the doorbell. I think it’s a great addition to my home security and I find it very useful and convenient. I definitely recommend.

It added tons of security to my house and now I’m able to tell who is coming in and out the house and who is outside. The app is great and works perfectly! My only complain is the fact that this is a wired doorbell. So it was not easy to install it myself and took a long time reading the instructions and trying to understand where everything goes. The video quality is pretty good and the audio works fine. I also like that you can storage video.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Energizer Connect Smart Doorbell was pretty easy to install and connect. The instructions and App are simple to follow and get working. The video it takes has a great wide range so it captures my entire porch and driveway. We have had a couple disconnection issues- we have great WiFi but twice it’s disconnected and we’ve had to reboot it to get it to start alerting our phones again. Besides that, I wish it looked more like a doorbell - it has the word push in tiny font on the button but it doesn’t really advertise to anyone coming to the front door that it’s supposed to be pushed for tone. That’s not a deal breaker, just more of an observation! Overall, it’s a nice system for a good price.

This video doorbell comes with 2 easy step 1 and step 2 set of instructions on what and how to do it. It does require a hardwire but that is stated on the box and I actually prefer it. Setting up the app and making an account was simple as well. The quality of images is great, crisp and clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the answer to the Smart Doorbell I was looking for. You have to supply your micro memory chip and a USB connector to pair the bell to your phone, but I had both so I paired the bell to the phone app and took the old doorbell off of the wood frame. The old wiring and power supply were perfect for the new unit so I screwed the angle baseplate to the frame covering the old holes and wire. I then tried to attach the standard base to the angled one with the tiny screws supplied. They were too short to grab the nut so I counter sunk the hole to get it all to work. The old wires went right onto the new unit and all went nicely onto the baseplate. I pressed the button and my phone came to life. I could see, talk and hear. Recording if I wanted! If I mounted it again I would angle it a lot more to see someone coming up my porch.

Now I can see, and screen, any guests to my house (either wanted or unwanted). This gives me some peace of mind and convenience when I get a delivery. The app works like a charm and we are able to see who is at our door using Live view. We can also communicate using the two-way audio. The door bell picks up some motion and will alert through the app. It was a fairly simple installation connecting to our existing door bell wiring. Great product for the price. Would recommend.

I dont know what I did without a video doorbell. Its so nice to see who is at the door when I'm home alone. Highly recommend.
