I was excited about this however it fell short in all areas. The dolls have so many grooves that it’s difficult to get even color on anything. The shower has little pressure so you have to run them under a faucet. They have to dry completely before you can start over. The surface of the fold is almost like felt so not durable. A big disappointment!

The markers rub off on your fingers easily and are pretty messy. My daughter enjoyed the concept, but it’s not an easy cleanup. The dolls did wash off well for the most part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This FAO Schwarz Toy Coloring Play Set was a disappointment. The premise looks seems fun and the toys look cute. But when my daughters and I started coloring the toys, it was just a big mess. The markers are not pointy enough to get the toys colored nicely. The caps are also faulty because every time my daughters would try to close the markers by themselves they couldn’t (tip would get jammed) and the tips would break. My daughters have never had any problems closing markers or breaking the tips. When the toys were washed, they would still have lingering color on them.

Ever since my daughter got this play set, she has not been playing with any other toy. You can color and customize the outfits of dolls in this kit. The product is high quality and the coloring markers last long.

The dolls are super cute and have accessories that you can switch and share with each other!! The little shower is absolutely adorable and it really does work ... Yo put the doll in the little shower after your done coloring it and instantly the marker starts coming off!! I will say the marker doesn't all come off of them you can see spots or streaks!! Super easy to setup and use!!!!

We will see how long it takes her to finish all dolls included and how long she will play with them. It is definitely a creative and different gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I was never really a fan of paper dolls I found this FAO Schwarz-Toy Coloring Play Set Street Chic to be a great way to unwind and create a fun and reusable craft. Though I found the nooks and crannies difficult to reach with the marker, I was surprised and delighted by showering the doll so I could start all over! Getting it to stand in the best shower position was a challenge. And since you need water it can easily get messy. But fun enough to do anyway. .

With four unique dolls to color on and 12 markers of different colors the creativity is endless. The shower works to get the washable markers off to recreate other designs. I gave this a 4 star only because occasionally the marker doesn't wash off fully and my daughter wanted other colors. This is amazing though. My daughter loves it and spends hours creating new outfits to do her own mini fashion shows.
