Love the way it looks on my counter but its truly such a good kettle, heats up so fast!

I bought this to replace a 4 year old Stagg EKG kettle (moving past goal temps to 212 despite all scale being cleaned out), and it has been working well. I like this one better because of the non-gooseneck spout for speedier pouring when I need to fill up a thermos to be on the go with my tea. I did have a little hiccup at the start because I misunderstood the instruction manual and thought it was requiring wifi plus app to adjust some of the more advanced settings, but after some clarification from the support team, I am glad to say that is not required. You do just need an outlet and electricity to plug it into. I like the easy adjustment of temperatures for making tea where I routinely infuse the leaves multiple times, and for my morning senchas and gyokuro, I change temperature each infusion. Hoping for a longer period of trouble-free use with this kettle.

Quiet, quick, and compact. Great for tea since you can easily set the correct temperature.

I bought this model because it had an alarm when the water was warm. The alarm is so quiet that the only way you can hear it is if you're standing right next to it, it might as well not even be an alarm.

This is my second Fellow tea kettle. This one has a couple upgrades, like variable hold times and a chime when it reaches the temperature wanted. If you are anavid tea drinker, like me this is a must.

I typically do not review products but this kettle is perfection. So well made and beautiful to look at. Love how quickly it heats up with just the push of a button. Highly recommend.

Bought this as a gift for my partner, he’s an avid tea drinker. It is quite the upgrade to our past electric kettle!! The design is gorgeous and it feels great in your hand. The timer and other options are wonderful. We had no issues with the lid being too hot for refilling. Overall it’s terrific. And makes us happy every time we use it!

I love this kettle. It’s intuitive, sexy, and convenient. The auto boil makes my routine effortless, and reminds me when I should be getting out the door for work!

I bought this and it is missing a bumper on the bottom of the kettle. I submitted a request 10 days ago about this and still have yet to hear back.

The kettle heats up quickly which is a plus. The minus is that the lit quickly stopped fitting as the gasket kept coming loose. Fellow doesn’t have a replacement lid for me but is sending me a new gasket. If that works to make the lid function as it should I will give the product a 5.

I love how well this works. From the preheat function, to how quickly it heats up to your desired temperature, and it doesn’t bubble out at all - and it’s simply beautiful.

The real test is whether it breaks after a year or two like every other kettle I've owned both name-brand and not. For this price I expect it needs to survive until I die; and if it does then it gets an extra star. That said, I have some picky design issues: The kettle is small, which wouldn't be as much of an issue if it were easier to refill (see below) The lid is very snug. This makes it a bother to return water after warming your mugs. Also, when it finally pops open it will spray drops of near-100° condensate around. After a couple weeks I'm still not used to its "hold" behavior: you must explicitly click to turn off the kettle. Other kettles turn off after you lift from the base. That's obviously a limitation of how other kettles are made, but I think it's also better UX. Maybe I'll get used to Fellow's way. I'm near sea level, but it still pumps excessive heat into the water when holding at 100°, even after calibration. That's an issue because all kettles are noisy when they run at full heat (but also because it's a waste of energy). It's got a microcontroller and PID algorithms, so I expect it to be smart enough to detect the cliff when energy goes to boiling rather than heating. You can work around this issue by lying about your altitude. I wish the scheduler would remember the last time you used instead of starting you from 12:00am every time.

Heats up quickly! Instructions are a little vague and I do wish the app worked. Reviews were not good but I was hoping maybe it had been improved, evidently not.
