Q: HOW do we remove the smell of this product from our dishwasher? Half a dozen loads later, the fragrance is still so strong it burns my eyes and makes our dishes TASTE like this product. Help??
A: 2024 and still horrible! You should listen to your customers!
submitted byDissapointed - 6 months agoA: Same experience as others. Followed instructions, ran on an empty load. Multiple loads later we are still drowning in the scent, dishes are as well. Multiple dishes will become unusable if I can’t hand wash this smell out with other soaps.

The scent notes contain a citrus core with Eucalyptus Mint. The scent will fade after a few washes. As per the label instructions, this product is to be used in an empty dishwasher. Q: Do you puncture the wax plug with a divider on bottom rack? Thanks
A: I did it with 2 different bottle and neither one worked. Had to call # on back and send photo to get money back. DO NOT BUY!
submitted bybad product - 3 months agoA: I followed the manufacturer's directions to the letter; however, the wax plug did not melt at all, even after I ran my dishwasher twice on the sanitize cycle. The water seemed hot enough. In fact, my glasses fogged up when I opened the dishwasher mid-cycle to check whether the Finish Liquid Dishwasher Machine Cleaner bottle was empty. Nevertheless, I had to pierce the wax plug with a toothpick to get the produce out. I am willing to try again, but I can't say it was easy to use. Any suggestions?

To ensure optimum results are achieved, here are some helpful tips: Do not remove the cap. Remove sticker from top of the bottle to expose the wax plug. Place bottle upside down in the bottom dish rack. Keep cap on and make sure the wax plug is exposed. Do not use any soap or detergents. Run dishwasher empty on the hottest cycle (i.e. pots and pans, sanitation, etc.). Discard the empty bottle at the end of the cycle. Q: I tried 2 different bottles and neither wax plug would dissolve, so the cleaner would not come out. I called the number on the back of bottle and have to send a picture in to get my money back?
A: Thank you for reaching out to us. These are the tips for Finish® Dishwasher Cleaner - Liquid to dispense: 1. Sticker needs to be removed to expose wax plug. Wax plug needs to completely melt in order to dispense liquid. 2. Must use hottest cycle in order to melt the wax plug 3. Bottle must be turned upside down with cap/wax plug facing down. The hot water of cycle will melt the plug, allowing liquid to dispense. Q: Not finding a good answer for the wax top not melting, and liquid still inside. I followed instructions, ran it multiple times. Finally, I ran it, opened, then punctured and put in the bottom. We are all having the same issue - help!
