I haven't tried this yet but I am posting a pic of the ingredients for whoever needs it. The ingredients are relatively clean. It does have fragrance but at least function of beauty is phthalate free. It has alcohol as a first ingredient which can be drying for hair, but I wanted something that would evaporate quickly instead of dampening my curls.

I added a volume booster shot to mine, which I really like since I have fine hair. To me it has medium hold It doesn’t weigh my hair down.

I have not tried a good non-aerosol hairspray in a very very long time, so I was very intrigued when a function of beauty launched this Hold it Together hairspray. This is a great hairspray for finishing touches to sleek back hairstyles. I love that you have a little bit more control as far as placement goes as it’s a non aerosol spray. It has great hold and not overly sticky so far I’m really enjoying this product! *gifted

Complimentary from functionofbeauty. I was excited to try this non-aerosol hairspray as I've been looking for a more eco-friendly option. I'm pleased to say it delivers on hold and doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or stiff. The spray nozzle is easy to use and dispenses just the right amount of product. My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit tricky to get an even distribution, but overall I'm happy with the performance and happy to be using a more sustainable hairspray!

I was gifted by function of beauty. I am in love with this hairspray. I used it after I did a blowout and it made the hairspray look even better than before. It doesn’t make your hair greasy and makes your hair feel really healthy and soft.

I used this spray before a concert to see how well it would hold my curls throughout the night! I was pleasantly surprised to see my curls still almost perfect at the end! It does not have a residue, nor does it make your hair feel crunchy afterwards! Bonus that it smells good!! Gifted by function of beauty!

LOVE how I was able to add my custom booster to the hair spray. I have very fine hair so heavy hairspray usually weighs it down. I found that this hairspray was lightweight and held my curls all night. I also love that it is non-aerosol! gifted by function of beauty

Not really sure why another reviewer would claim it smells "delicious." There were several bottles on the shelf and they all reeked of straight alcohol and it does not disapate like normal products with alcohol in them do. First ingredient is sd alcohol, that's not even what holds hair. Function of beauty brags about their products being free of tons of stuff (which I appreciate) but alcohol especially that level will dry out the hair and scalp. Good in a way for the oily scalp crowd but after a few days, then the sticky hair and itch from the alcohol starts. As is I would be ok with $7 , not the $13 price point. Ok for their first try but F.O.B we want to see you do better.

I love this product so much! I usually stay away from hairspray because they make my hair feel too sticky and the aerosol is hard to travel with since I travel a lot. I love how curly and defined my hair is and it still remains soft and in place throughout the day.

I needed a good quality hairspray for the longest & when this one was offered by Function of Beauty as a gift, I was really surprised!! Since it is non aerosol, there’s not huge fume cloud & it actually holds up my bangs the way I want them to be!

I was offered by functionofbeauty and I love the consistency of this fixing spray. It’s not heavy at all and was super easy to apply it before styling the hair, as well as after it to keep it in place. It kept my hair in place all night but it still looked smooth and silky.

After not using hairspray for quite a while, using this one is a pleasant surprise. It has a cucumber-ish scent and isn't overpowering at all, really mild scent. It doesn't leave your hair feeling crunchy which I like since I usually only use it when wearing my hair pulled back. I didn't use it on curled hair or with my hair down, but I'd imagine it wouldn't leave it crunchy that way either. Gifted by function of beauty
