Easy to clean but after a couple uses things began to stick to it even with oil in the pan. Pretty disappointed.
1 reply from Customer Service team - 6 months ago
We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

These Pans Stick!

I was determined to take the best possible care of these pans. I cut the care instructions from the package, stuck them to the refrigerator, and kept them there until I was sure I knew them without looking. I followed them to the letter. But almost immediately food started sticking. It’s not just a little bit of sticking — it’s impossible to fry an egg in this pan, no matter how much oil we add. And it’s all foods, not just a problematic few. After a few months we abandoned them and got new pans. A waste of our money.

WASTE OF MONEY - NOT NON STICK

Kristy - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
These are the worst pans i have ever purchased. They’re pricey also for the quality - or lack thereof. I purchased 3 months ago. They’re NOT nonstick. I put oil and they STILL get a coating on the bottom of eggs or whatever I’m cooking. Should have never tried these. Waste of money. Back to my trusted brand I go - Cuisinart or cast iron for life.

Not Eligible for Warranty - 2 years ago
"Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings" according to customer service. This seems like an odd defense of the non-stick coating. The small pan chipped within a few months of light usage. The larger pan arrived chipped on the top edge but the cooking service has aged much better than the smaller pan. I would not recommend these pans.

I hate these pans. I bought the sauce pan and really liked it so I bought the fry pans and they are the worst. They stick. All the time. And I you use any kind of oil it stains. So you have to buy this special sponge from Greenpan to clean them, every single time you wash them to have to use this special sponge. I have had them for four months, worst pan ever. Buying replacements already.

We have had these pans for several months and use them daily. They are great non stick pans and safe. I did a lot of research before purchasing as I was looking for a safe non stick pan without a chemical coating and these came highly recommended. They have exceeded my expectations! I never write reviews but when I saw the negative reviews I wanted to share my experience which has been all positive.

Company should be totally ashamed of itself. These pans became unusable after a few weeks of use. Do not waste your money on this. After cooking professionally for over 30 years I can assure anyone that a pan does not require the special treatment being suggested. What is required is using additional oil or fat to keep the food from touching the actual pan. Do not waste your money on this garbage.
