Q: Can i cook with oils or butters with these pans? or is it strictly no use of that with these pans?

A: Absolutely! Choosing the right oil is an important decision, but we are here to help! It is very important to know the smoke point of the oil you choose. We recommend oils with a high smoke point, to reduce the chances of oils getting too hot and sticking to your pan. We know EVOO is very popular. Since Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a lower smoke point, please keep your heat to medium if you choose to use EVOO. Regular Olive Oil is a better option as it has a higher smoke point. We also find that many consumers like clarified butter (Ghee), Refined Coconut Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Peanut Oil and some vegetable oils with high smoke points. We suggest avoiding Avocado oil as this oil can become sticky when heated. ***Users should avoid all oils in spray form, as the tiny oil droplets will heat up very quickly and burn, creating a layer of carbonization on your pan.****

Q: What color are the outsides of the sides and bottoms of the pans? Only asking in case if they’re white that means the occasional burn marks might show up more than on the darker one(s).

A: The pans are black on the exterior and cream on the interior. As long as the care and use instructions are followed, there should be no issue with staining.

This was probably my third or fourth purchase from this brand. It’s cookware I can feel good about knowing it doesn’t have any toxic chemicals or coatings! Also it’s truly non-stick. Just make sure you only use silicone or wood utensils because it does get ruined by metal utensils.

Don't even waste your time. After a week, all amd any kind of food sticks to ALL 3 PANS! No matter how much you grease it up or heat up. Everything sticks instantly! Only used rubber spatulas and gently hand washed bc I was scared to ruin the pans but this is what I get. Wasted money on 3 pans and all the food it destroyed. Even all the eggs that i could barely eat bc it just stuck on the pan, in this economy!

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

Been using this pan for all of a week and a half now? And already omelets are sticking to it even when using liberal amounts of oil or butter. I've only ever used silicone spatulas. This is actually the second pan to do this. I got one for Christmas and thought it was just a fluke. Won't be wasting my money on this company again

This pot has been great so far. I bought it to be a popcorn pot but I have made caramel and tomato sauce in it as well and nothing has burned on or stuck. It is very easy to clean and has required no scrubbing. I'm very happy with it as I have been with my frying pan set as well.

We bought this entire set and since day one on a gas stove.the handle connectors smelled like melted plastic. And they are indeed melting. Every time we use them they get worse. What a waste of money. Why are they rated for gas stoves?!?

I don't know why these pans always rust with the screw that connects the handle. This is the third one I have owned where it rust at the handle screw. I hand wash these always. Flawed design.

Great pans...I will say you very much have to pay attention to how you clean them and they heat up quicker and more uniformly than any other pan so you can cook on with lower heat and more evenly, I have enjoyed them so far. Very nice. And I love that they are safe to use and I no longer have to wonder if I am unwittingly harming myself and/or my loved ones.

The pans work exactly as advertised with medium heat being plenty to cook about anything. And non-sit k, let me tell you! Food just rolls off of them and the clean-up is mild soap and water to look like new. Super impressed!!!
