A: It does not come with a separate warming plate if that's what you mean. It will keep coffee hot until automatic shutoff.

But when I make the 1st single cup I need to add a little more coffee grounds to make it stronger. Later in the day cups I just add new grounds to the basket and don't need the extra grounds because I already have the old grounds and that saves on filters too. If you're initially making 2 or more cups you don't need to add the extra grounds.

A: Yes, it shuts off after 2 hours. There's also a timer that tell how long it's been on so you know when it will shut off.

I bought this coffee maker several years ago and I am finally frustrated with its' issues on looking for a replacement. The most irritating is when it decides to accumulate grinds and dump them in the basket and into my coffee. Yes, I do clean it and I use expensive filters. I even tried a basket but it diluted the coffee, so I returned it. It also periodically leaks from the base. Steam has also melted the fake trim over time; so it is not visually pleasing. Big ground dump this morning. Time to go!

We purchased this in July of 2021 and it officially died today 4/6/2024. It just wouldn’t suck up water/ brew. Based on other reviews I’m surprised ours lasted as long as it did. We used it everyday. It wasn’t bad when it worked and I suppose for the $40. We paid for it at the time we got our moneys worth.

Like to be able to see time and information in white letters. A lot of other makes use black letters on a gray back ground making them hard to read. This model easy to read!!!!

It was ok for a couple years. It’s still in good condition, I clean it every few months. However, it’s now started having brewing issues, I put in 6 cups of water but only get 4 cups of coffee… how does that even happen? And the grounds are getting EVERYWHERE. I use good filters, but still the grounds are in my coffee, on top of the pot and all over in the basket. I don’t understand how this issue just started randomly happening?

I really like the look of it, it's an excellent addition to my kitchen. It makes my coffee flawlessly and mess free. I figured this coffeemaker out pretty quickly and it works great. The coffee tastes amazing and I have absolutely no complaints. It is so easy to use and the look of it is so modern. I am very happy with my new coffeemaker.

I fill it up then transfer to a bottle and store it in the fridge for the week. The coffee comes out really good and I feel like the coffee comes out stronger than when I use my 4-cup coffee maker. The programming settings are pretty simple. I love the whole look of the coffee maker in my kitchen. I find it really easy to clean and it doesn't take up too much space.

This one works so very great, I really like front fill type design because that way you can store it like under a cabinet and you do not have to pull it out everytime you want to fill it up.

There's a water measurement window on the left side of the coffee maker which the water level can easily be seen. The swing out feature to add the coffee grounds is easy to access and remove if necessary to clean which I love. A great feature of this coffee maker is the water compartment is separate from the coffee grounds, no spilling water in the coffee grounds. The coffee maker will automatically shut off after 2 hours. ⁿThis is a very awesome coffee maker!

The flavor is perfect and the coffee is HOT. I personally like the fact that I don't have to pull my new coffee maker completely out from under our cabinets to prepare the maker for brewing or to clean up after brewing. It's easy to use and clean, access for everything on the front, has programmer and it makes delicious coffee. This one is a keeper. Hamilton Beach has yet to let me down.
