I love the little clip that holds the beaters and whisk together with the mixer! It is so handy...no more digging in drawers!!. Balanced perfectly and sits perfectly upright with no wobble!

The beaters on this mixer are wider than on other mixers I've owned, which makes the cleaning SO much easier. Also, the storage clip is genius. I also like that the speeds on this mixer feel more gradual, and easy to control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good basic hand mixer. The stir feature is nice to start dry ingredients without them flying out of the bowl and making a mess. It's easy to start new speeds with very little lag. The bowl rest is also nice as I've typically had to sit the entire unit down on a counter with dripping beaters (a little messy). The included clip is nice to keep the beaters and whisk with the unit. I would have probably preferred to have them in a case, but this works too. The black color with silver accent gives it a nice upscale look that goes nice with my black stainless appliances. I've mixed pancakes, brownies, and small batches of cookies with this unit. I've been happy each time with it's capabilities. I like this unit for the simple tasks vs my big stand mixer. This unit would be great for a small household and for someone just starting out on their own. I would recommend for light use.I would feel comfortable giving this as a wedding gift or housewarming to help with small tasks. I have many other Hamilton Beach items in my home, this one fits right in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 6 Speed Hand Mixer with Storage Clip would be an excellent gift for a bride or rookie cook who needs a mixer but doesn't have the finances or expertise to use a heavier, bigger stand mixer. I haven't had a hand mixer in years & thought I was doing well without one. This mixer changed my mind. I've been cooking & baking for over 60 years & believe a hand mixer is an important kitchen tool even if a stand mixer is in the kitchen. This particular model I found to be useful when what you're making isn't appropriate for the stand mixer but needs more than hand power. I found it to beat eggs for a quiche quite easily, whipping cream without any problem. I have not tried it on whipping potatoes simply because I don't care for them. On days when my arthritis is active, this hand mixer is light enough that I can hold it without problems. The storage clip is a hand feature that will keep you from scrambing around a kitchen drawer to find the beaters when you want to use the mixer. The ejection button works well. I keep the mixer on a rack with all my other hand appliances. It will become a well used addition to my cooking arsenal.

It provides several speeds to make mixing ingredients easy. The only issue I really had with this mixer is the cord. I found it tended to get in my way when using it. I would prefer the cordless model for this reason. Beaters and whisk were easy to install and remove.

The storage clip included is very helpful and a great way to store the mixer. My biggest issue with the mixer was the speed. There isn't really a slow speed, one is fast and even pushing the "stir" button doesn't slow it down much. I wasn't prepared for the speed and did end up with flour everywhere the first time. The second time was better but I did wish the "stir" function was more true to that and slower. But it does get very fast all the way up to 6

It has a nice range of speeds, including an option to slow down the slowest setting even more, which comes in handy when first mixing liquid and dry ingredients. No more splattering! I also like the storage clip for the beaters, keeps everything nice and neat in one place. The whisk works well, too. The only down side is that I find it a little heavy, which becomes noticeable when using for an extended time.

I had another model before and I liked everything about it except that it wouldn’t stand up right because the chord was in the way. I picked this one because it does stand up right and it’s well balanced so it can be set on the counter in the middle of using it without toppling over. That’s pretty much the best thing about this mixer. It is very powerful so I’m disappointed that it doesn’t have a slow setting, goes straight to medium and you need to press the button the whole time if you want it to mix slowly. I guess it would work well for meringue making but not the best for batters. Although if it was meant for meringues I don’t know why it only had one whisk attachment. All my previous mixers come with 2, the goo thing is that it is a standard size attachment so the ones from my previous mixer fort just fine. Overall if you only need it once in. While it need a high speed mixer this would work but it’s not my personal favorite.

That recipe requires 5 minutes of constant whipping/mixing. This handy mixer took on this task and worked like a champ. It didn’t even get hot with all that continuous mixing at high speed. I also used it to make a cake and it handled that very easily. The mixer is not heavy, so you can hold it for a period of time without your hand and arm feeling stress.The storage clip is a great idea to keep all the two beaters and one whisk together- not lost in my utensil drawer. I am very pleased with this mixer and will be using it to make more Christmas treats in the near future and look forward to many more years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owning a Hamilton Beach stand mixer, I first assumed that this compact hand mixer would not have as much power as the stand mixer. I was wrong. It is strong enough to make garlic butter and the ingredients blend so well. Now with the additional mixer, I can easily mix some quick, small dishes without using the big stand mixer (less things to clean up later) :) The storage clip is also helpful to keep the whole set in place. Just wish it came with a storage case to keep dust out.

My previous hand mixer was so old and weak.It only has 3 speed levels.And it was not enough power to make butter smooth. But now, I got this powerful 6 speed levels hand mixer! I'm still little scared to go more than level 3. lol.I'll get used to the speed. I really love this hand mixer so much.It makes my life easier and tasty.

Basic assembly was incredibly easy, just plug in the attachments, plug the cord into an outlet, and you're ready to use it. I loved being able to start out with the slow "Stir" setting so no heavy cream or powder went flying. From there, I barely needed to increase speed and was able to make a beautiful, stiff whipped cream in just a couple of minutes. Cleaning was just as easy. I washed the beaters as usual, and gave the mixer itself a wipe with a damp paper towel. The attachment clip that plugs into the mixer makes it so easy to store your attachments. I highly recommend this mixer.

It also has 6 speeds and it's really powerful. I actually mixed a batch of my cookie dough instead of using my stand up mixer to see how it holds up. Let me tell you I love it.
