I purchased in December. Did not open until February. When plugged in the indicator light did not come on. I would have returned it if I had not needed to use it at that moment. Very disappointed.

I like how the lid is able to be secured shut and simplicity of heat settings without the screen. But, this crockpot takes longer than usual to cook food. This is my first time using a Hamilton brand. My previous crockpots cooked food faster.

Impressed with the oval shape, multiple settings, and secure lid of this 6qt slow cooker. Handles stay cool, easy to clean, and no spills during transport. Ladle spoon not ideal for scraping. A reliable choice cooking on the go.

I have had this same product for 14 years and been pleased with it’s usefulness and performance, but recently broke the ceramic crock. The new one does not have a light to show it is on, and part of the mechanism that opens the metal lid clips has been down graded to plastic. I hope cooking efficiency and performance remains the same.

Great product! This item is very convenient when planning to cook and is the best thing ever. Whatever kind of meat you choose to use, it doesn’t dry out and is tenderize. Really simple and easy to use, so glad I got this.

It’s not very sturdy. If you try to shred chicken the whole thing moves all over the counter! Doesn’t feel safe. I’m going to see if I can add some rubber feet to it. The latch is also tricky and feels like it could break. Disappointed because it was replacing the same brand from 15 years ago that worked so well!

The outter shell of the slow cooker is made of flexible metal. We used it ONCE and it it dented beyond repair.

I love the travel lid, and the size. . However, it does not have an On/Off light Why? This is my 3rd Hamilton Beach crock pot, I have always liked them. But why would you not put an On/Off light on them anymore? So you burn your hand checking if it is on???

This crockpot cooks the food perfectly every single time. I love the programmable feature so that cooking stops after the food is done. So I am assured the food won’t be burnt when I get home. It’s basically what I’ve been waiting for all my life when it comes to potlucks, I can carry it with me, easy to carry since it has handles. The lid makes it also perfect because there is no risk of it spilling in your car and making a big mess. I cooked a whole chicken in it for thanksgiving and do not regret using it because it came out very juicy and tender. My friends were amazed with my slow cooker they want to buy one too. It is very easy to clean since it has a removable pot. It’s been about 6 years that I’ve tried different slow cookers and by far I can say this one is the best. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants to pay for something that will be worth your money.

It's compact and doesn't weigh that much which surprised me. It heats up quickly and I like that the warm option is the first option instead of after the high setting which allows you to go from high to warm and then off when you are done. The locking lid is fantastic and my favorite feature! I was able to start my green bean casserole at home and then take it to my daughter's and just plug it back in there. No hassle, no mess in my car.
