It's been a while since I purchased heavy whipping cream so I was surprised ( not in a good way) to find that this was NOT PURE CREAM, as it contains numerous additives, some of which I try to avoid consuming. When I noticed there was a satisfaction guarantee I called to request a refund, providing the required receipt number and the reason for my dissatisfaction, I was told it had to be returned to the store. My husband was the purchaser and thought it wasn't worth the hassle.

I'm not really an expert on whipping cream so I'll just say that I was using this outright to make crepe filling and it did a really good job. The typical chalky taste that I've tasted from some other heavy whipping creams made me hesitant to buy any, but I bought this brand and I didn't have any problem with it. I also have a lot of allergens and I didn't have any allergic outbreaks from this either. I know a lot of people are probably have a lot of discrepancies about the ingredients list and I didn't really take the time to read that too much, I just needed some heavy whipping cream and it seemed to be very cost effective. It held pretty well and it was stable enough that I was able to make a pretty consistent filling for my crepes and it tasted delicious so I don't see the problem with it.

For starters, I’ve been buying this for years. The last few times I’ve purchased it, it’s thick, oily, but doesn’t whip. You can’t make whipped cream, cold foam, or butter with it. It’s not heavy cream. It’s just some weird thickened milk?? I noticed the ingredients have changed which explains why it has made me SICK.

I didn't know that I should have to read the ingredient list when buying heavy cream. This is the first time I've ever encountered heavy cream with carrageenan and other ingredients listed. This stuff is unnaturally thick. I will not buy this again, and recommend that others choose a different brand as well. I ordinarily like Good and Gather products, but this one missed the mark in a big way. I'm so disappointed.

I've bought this item 2x now in 2 different sizes from 2 different stores. It's been gross, 1st one felt way thicker then normal, 2nd one was CHUNKY when I poured it out. I won't be making the same mistake a third time

Something has gone off on this. We’ve purchased the store brand for years and has been perfectly fine for use in coffee. For some reason over the last few months, it has become thicker and more oily in mouthfeel. What has started out as a good purchase now has become a role of the dice. Whoever the current supplier is of this, I would not recommend it.

It seemed like normal whipping cream, except they added carageenan to it. Someone decided whipping cream is not thick enough, so they used a non food additive known to be so inflammatory it is used to test effectivenss of anti-infammatory medicines. Just want to make sure people know about this so maybe one day we can buy basic ingredients without unnecessary/health risk additives. I hope target remakes this and takes the carageenan out! Please don't sacrifice quality and health, cream is all I ask for, thank you!
