Q: Can you open and clean the blades?

We do not recommend opening the fan to clean the blades, but rather to follow these instructions; FAN CLEANING 1-Always unplug the fan before cleaning. 2-Do not allow water to drip on or enter into fan housing. 3-Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. 4-Do not use gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner. 5-Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. 6-Do not attempt to remove the fan blade. Please use caution around the motor housing area. 7-Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water. You can hear it on settings 4-6. There's a remote included. You can mute the beeping sounds with a button on the remote. It even has a washable filter so you can clean off the dust.

I have it at the foot of my bed and it moves enough air to keep me cool but without feeling like I’m in a wind tunnel. I also love the amount of noise, just enough for some white noise to sleep by but wouldn’t be disruptive if you had it in a living room or office. I also love the remote. Especially for those cooler mornings where I want to turn it off before I get out of the covers.

It seems very sturdy to not fall over and it is light enough to carry into a different room or change the position. The airflow is strong enough and will work wonderfully come Summer when my living room gets hot with the curtains open. So this fan will definitely cool us down. You just plug it in and you're good to go. The remote control is very convenient so I do not have to get up to power on the fan and/or change the settings. This fan has a low noise level even on the highest setting of airflow which is AWESOME!! I love this fan!!!!

It’s is nearly silent as well. Last weekend I shampooed my carpets and so I set it up to help with drying. I found that it put out more than enough air at a level six, and that even with me sitting right next to it I could still watch a movie at a regular volume. I’m very much looking forward to using it during the warmer weather in the next few months!
