A: I noticed the same with mine. It’s advertised with it but it’s not doing what it says according to programming.

The fan has excellent air flow capabilities, even at the first setting. It certainly works well to keep my room cool, and the remote is very convenient. Unfortunately, quiet is a massive overstatement because this fan squeaks like nothing else. It's a high pitched nuisance that sometimes goes away after smacking the fan, but inevitably it comes back. The sound is so grating that even after it stops, I live in perpetual anticipation of when the horrid shrieking will start up again. I don't know if I just got a bad model, but it's hard to overlook the sound despite the fan being great.

A week after buying the fan, it started making squealing noises that were so loud and would wake us up throughout the night. No matter what we did to try and fix it, it still ended up squealing so loudly.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve had this fan for maybe 3 weeks and it started making a terrible squeaky/ humming sound. Which is now constantly happening no matter what I do. All 4 levels , rotating or not, I’ve tried everything. I’m taking it back and never buying from this brand again. I had high hopes but very disappointed.

This fan works extremely well but best fits in a small room or anywhere when the ac is on. Tower fans are best fit for small rooms and helps circulate air.

The motor broke after 2 weeks, it just heats up and smells like an electrical fire about to happen. Not good for a fan we had in our nursery. I checked for any obstructions and there was nothing in the way.

I live in a studio with a window ac unit which sucks in the south Florida summers so I bought this fan, thinking it’d help give some relief, however it sucks and not sure why it has 5 star reviews. Not worth the money at all. The oscillating is soooo slow and it def doesn’t blow air up to 29 feet. Maybe 15 feet at best. Air flow is weak. Not to mention, although it stands 36in” tall, Only about 12in” of that actually blows out air. Spend your money elsewhere

I've used cheaper tower fans in the past and I didn't find them to work all that better than just a small desk top fan. I've been trying to cut back on using AC this summer with how high my energy bill has been so I decided to give tower fans another try and went with this one based on the reviews even though I was a bit hesitant due to the price. It's very easy to operate, and though the beeps are a little loud it's very quiet in operation. Within minutes of turning it on I feel a lot cooler. I usually tend to sweat after showering during the summer, but I just sit right in front of this fan and I no longer sweat afterwards. There have been times when my apartment was 80 degrees but I actually felt a bit chilled with this fan on. Definitely worth the higher price point.
