Q: Can the filter be cleaned?

A: Hi, this fan do not come with a filter. Please follow our Instruction Manual cleaning instructions. You can also gently vacum in low setting CLEANING 1. Always unplug the fan before cleaning. 2. Do not allow water to drip on or into fan housing. 3. Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. 4. Do not use gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner. Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not attempt to remove the fan blade. Please use caution around the motor housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposedto water. Q: Why does the fan have a weird smell and how long will it last? should I be concerned?

This tall, powerful tower fan is my favorite because it cools better than fans I've spent much more on. I only have fans, no AC so I really appreciate this superior fan. It has multiple modes and speeds plus the remote is very convenient. Holmes stands behind it with a 3 year warranty. My only complaint is that it took about 2 weeks to arrive but it was worth the wait-- highly recommend this quality fan.

Not easy to clean internal ridges or blades so it expels black dust as a result cause respiratory-related issues.

I honestly love this fan! It’s not loud at all unless you put it on mode 5 then it sounds like a normal fan I think it feels so refreshing and great! I would say the only thing I didn’t like was the little light lol it’s not bright at all like I was thinking it would be but besides that it’s honestly great! I especially love the little remote it comes with I keep it under my pillow😂

We use it in our back sun room when it gets warm and this does a wonderful job at cooling down a medium sized room. It’s easy to use and convenient, the only thing I dont like is that the base comes off so easily and when I try move it, it almost falls over every time.

We set it near our pellet stove and use it to blow the heat outward and towards the other rooms. It will be nice in the summer too for keeping our house nice and cool. The light is nice for night time. This Holmes fan definitely gets the job done. It comes with several settings. It also comes with a remote as well and a spot to leave it when not in use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice oscillating fan with improved features.

The air easily hits me no matter what position I am in without having to move it. I love that it has a light in the back and a place to grip it if you do have to pick it up. It has different speeds and oscillates with the press of a button. I do prefer the buttons instead of a dial like some other fans have. I love how quiet it is and how sleek it looks in my house. Would definitely recommend this fan. Great quality.

Its still cold here, but i was able to use this fan recently to cool off in kitchen after cooking with oven on. This fan is way more powerful than i could have expected! Its sleek design easy to fit any space and easy to use and has multiple settings for use. I highly recommend this Holmes Tower fan if this is the type of fan set up you like. Big plus that it s programmable and comes with a remote! This fan will be keeping me cool in these summer months ahead!!

It does put out good cool air, but it is also unstable. I plugged it in when I first got it to test it out. When I went to unplug it, it tipped over. Anything over level 1 is also pretty loud. As I was looking it up online, I noticed that the fan in the picture has a base, which was not included in mine. That certainly explains why it is not stable, but I am not sure if that explains why it is so loud.

This helped move the air, cool the air and evenly distributed throughout the square footage. Super easy to use, assembly was easy as well. It is not noisy either. I like the easy to read LED display and the accent light is unique. Comes in handy when you leave it on at night. Would highly recommend

It's sleek and sits in the corner of my living room between my two couches. This fan has several settings, I have been using the sleep mode. I like the fact that this can be programed to shut off automatically. It really moves the air which I like because during the winter months, the air in my home can feel stale and heavy. My husband has asthma so this is great for that reason. I have used this in my kitchen also to help move air and keep the room cooler especially when I am cooking, it can get warm in my kitchen.
