Q: Hello! I just got my rc wakeboard and when i plug it in the light doesnt light up. Is the light supposed to light up when charging or when full or what?

A: Hi Kirsten, The light should typically light up when charging and turn off once done. If the battery light is not working, the boat will still charge, you will just not see indicator light. We used this boat two times and now we cannot get the remote to stop beeping. We fully charged the boat & put new batteries in the remote but it just keeps beeping and the boat is not responding to the remote any more. Only used it twice!

Could only test this in a tub but it's goes fast so be careful if you let kids play with this in the tub. It does split water.from the back so be careful please. Overall it take a minute to charge but it's nice.

Fun remote control boat - buzzes around quick in the water and holds a good charge. Fun colors and easy to use! Even comes with a fun detachable wake board that you can hang on the racks on the boat! Would be fun to have two and race someone else or go around a little created course! Will be fun to play with both from the dock and from the boat!

This RC boat is a blast in the water! It's not as big as some other RC models, but it's perfect for pool adventures. We've only tried it in the pool so far, and it's super fun to watch it zoom around. The controls are easy to use, so you can get the hang of it quickly. It's made really well and looks just like a real wakeboard boat, which makes it even cooler. We also have the Hyper RC Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, and both of these toys are awesome for playing outside. The boat adds a nice change when we want to play in the water instead of racing around on land. Both are really fun and keep us busy for hours. If you like RC toys and have a pool, you should definitely check out this boat!

This RC wakeboard boat is a lot of fun! The design is sleek, and it’s surprisingly fast for its size. The battery life is impressive, giving us plenty of playtime before needing a recharge, which is a big plus. The controller is extremely simple, with just four buttons, making it perfect for kids to operate without any frustration. However, the wakeboards do tend to fall off quite a bit during use, which can be a little annoying but doesn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Overall, it’s a great RC boat for kids and beginners—fun, easy to use, and provides hours of entertainment!

This wakeboard boat is really fantastic – I the boat is super durable. Controlling it was easier than I thought and it really moves fast and turns quickly – making races really fun! We have a pool and finding toys like this really add to the fun – tricks and obstacle courses! It is easy to learn and the battery life is great – definitely adds to the fun! Our friends and their kids really enjoyed driving them – a crowd pleaser! The range is good and the battery lasted the whole day. A great gift.

This one will be fun to try in a lake - maybe a bit too big and powerful for a bathtub which is where we tested it. Probably not a tub toy but I am sure great at the beach! This boat has an easy to use charging port/cable and remote control. We would try it in a river but I don't think the build is made to fight a current.

Sweet little boat! Controls are very easy and intuitive. The box says 8+ but I got it for my 2.5 year old and he loves it. He’s not the best driver but he does ok and he has a blast!

We bought this boat while at the beach this past summer. My 5 yr old son played with this boat in pools all summer and loved it so much. We also had the issue with the remote beeping, and I also just took the batteries out to make it stop. It eventually stopped working correctly when he tried to play with it water that was pooled up after a hurricane. The boat was working, but the remote wouldn’t control it any more. It went straight only. I do believe improvements could be made to the remote:on/off switch and better seals (not quite water proof, more like water resistant), but my son loved it so much that he’s asked for another one for Christmas. To me it was worth $30 for how much he loved it, so that’s why I’m about to buy it again!

Decent little water boat for kids to use. I like that it is rechargeable and the batteries lasted a while. It goes at a decent speed and is light weight to carry around. The downside is that it seems to be pretty flimsy plastic and I’m not sure how long it will last. Need to be on the careful side with it and try not to drop it.

This wakeboard boat is so much fun. I know this is targeted toward kids but this boat is fun for adults as well. I love how easy this is to use and operate. The remote is very easy to use and handle. I also like that the remote is waterproof. The battery lasts a fairly long time. I also like that it charges quickly as well. My kids favorite thing about this boat is how fast it goes. This is such a fun toy that is truly great for all ages. Your entire family will love playing with this. My family loves it so much that I will be purchasing more of these. I highly recommend this product.

I got this boat thinking it would be fun for my kids and nieces/nephews to use in the pool and neighborhood pond. We've used it in the pool so far and have mixed feelings. Positive: it's fast and lightweight (easy to haul around). Negative: it didn't come with instructions, the remote control says it's waterproof but ended up with water inside with normal play, the remote control made annoyingly loud beeping sounds for extended periods of time and we weren't sure why (we had to unscrew it and take out the batteries).

Cool boat but needs off/on switch

Really unfortunate that the remote does not have an off/on switch. When the boat is low on charge, the remote starts loudly beeping. There is no way to turn off the beeping unless you take the batteries out of the remote, as there is no off/on switch. Otherwise, the boat drove great in our pool and charge lasted 20-30 minutes.

I am so surprised to see the negative reviews on this item because it's been great for my kids! They use it frequently without issues regarding charging or controller. And also, it's a $29.99 item, I don't expect it to last forever. Not sure why others were off put by production quality?
