Terrible labeling. Or am I blind?

4 out of 5 stars
Eyeroll - 2 months ago, Verified purchaser
There is no labeling that I can see. Or is it my oversight? How many mg of ferrous sulfate does a single pill contain? For example, other labels state "65 mg (365 mg ferrous sulfate)". Therefore, a person would take 1 pill if prescribed 365 mg and NOT 5 pills. 65 mg is the elemental equivalent to the 365 mg of ferrous sulfate. I wish labeling would be clearer.

Artifical Dyes !

Mike M - 3 months ago, Verified purchaser
No thank you! I purchased these and then realized when I had gotten them home, that there are all artifical dyes include in them (Blue/Red & Yellow!) . Red dyes have just been banned, so I wish the rest of these dyes would also get banned. Why do you have to include any artifical dyes in a vitamin or supplement!??

I tried taking these but they were hard on my stomach causing gas, cramping, and diarrhea. I stopped taking them and tried them again a few days later with the same results. Definitely not gentle on stomachs.

I’ve had belly aches on and off and sour stomach for the last two weeks, which is out of character for me. The only thing that changed was adding this to my diet a few times a week. I took Slow FE while pregnant and never had any issues, so I guess they are not too similar and I will go back to that supplement if necessary.

Good product, wasteful packaging.

4 out of 5 stars
Patrick9 - 10 months ago, Verified purchaser
The pills are nice and don’t upset my stomach, unlike regular iron supplements, but the packaging is ridiculous. 30 pills come in a bottle that could probably fit 300. That’s so much unnecessary plastic! Please make a smaller bottle and/or put more pills in the bottle. You don’t need a 4” bottle four 30 small pills.

I’ve been taking these for a while now trying to get my stores up (no tummy issues for me) and then one day it clicked that these have artificial coloring. Took me a bit to find another without and really wish I could just get it at Target.

Nunya - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
Stop using harmful & unnecessary dye in product. We don't care what the color is, only that it works. Which it does, it's a great product and easy on the stomach but I will now be looking for a new supplier due to the dyes used. They just aren't necessary and cause more harm than good for esthetic looks.
