Q: how much ferrous sulfate is in target brand up and up 65 mg iron tablets

A: Melissa - "curious" was asking about ferrous sulfate, not iron. Based on other similar supplements, I believe the correct answer is 325mg.

Allergic to item it took me 3 months and a Dr visits to realize what was causing the rash with intense itching that was all over my body. When I finally realized what was causing it it took another 5 to 6 weeks for the itching to completely stop after I stopped taking the supplement. I still have the the rash but it is slowly fading.

I had to switch to this one when my usual slow-release iron supplement was sold out. I have never had such TERRIBLE stomach cramps as when I began taking this product. I thought my appendix had exploded. I have been in debilitating stomach pain for days, constipated, and nauseous. Not to mention the artificial dye turned my poop blue!

Makes me feel nauseous. And not sure why blue lake color and yellow 1 is added to a vitamin. I don’t think it would need that for an appealing look. I thought they just did that for fast food or cereals. But it’s bad for you to consume.

That it doesn't state that 1 pill is ferrous sulfate 325mg. As a first diagnosis for iron deficient I didn't know there was a difference. All other iron supplements state the equivalent of both.

Labeling is only says 65mg but not the content of ferrous sulfate which is usually what a practitioner tells you to take. 325 is a typical dose so if you didn't realize you might take 5 of these a day which is dangerous. Change the dang labeling!!!!
