The stainless steel locking mechanism is smooth and easy to engage and disanggage. The size is ideal for various purposes, but I wish it is a bit bigger. The lid is made of natural bamboo with no dye or any other harmful chemicals. One concern is that the thickness of the glass jar is slightly thin. However, with good care, I have no problem with longevity. Thanks to influenster that provides this product as complimentary in exchange for my honest review.

Glass is super thin and the metal ring and clasp are also flimsy and will easily break. If I still have the packaging I am going to return it to my local Target.

I just used one to keep a few marshmallows out on my counter for hot chocolate over the holidays as we had family coming and going. They stayed so nice and soft. Definitely air tight containers!

I keep tapioca starch in one, and have had zero issues with moisture, which is a good test for a good seal. Love these jars!

I think these would also be great for holding loose leaf tea or spices bought by the pound. I was a little worried about washing these with the bamboo lid but they washed up just fine (the wood didn't warp or anything). Definitely hand wash only, though! I find these are easy to open but they still have a really solid and tight seal. They also stack well on top of each other.
