I have a 4.5qt Classic Kitchenaid mixer that came with a SS handle-less bowl and I finally decided I couldn't deal with it anymore because scraping that bowl is a 2-person job. So I came on here looking for a bowl and never expected to find this, a beautiful gold tone bowl, and the description said it would fit a 4.5qt mixer. I just received it, I washed it and it fit just fine! It's absolutely beautiful, and I'm so happy that if I had to buy a bowl with a handle, this was an option.

I love this bowl. Great aesthetic, same great design. The brass is hard to keep clean, so I use it only when it's on display, and use the regular bowl for every day use.

I haven't had a chance to use this bowl. It just arrived. I was very disappointed with the copper color. In all the pictures the color is very deep. It almost appears to be a bronze color. In 1 photo it appeared to be a very shiny rich copper. So I wasn't' expecting a water down version of that color. I had to hold it to the light to even tell what color it was. It is a light copper with a roseish cast. Not my favorite!

I leave my KitchenAid mixer on the counter all the time so it's important to me that it looks like decor and not another appliance. The metallic finish gold bowl looks so nice on my counter top. It washed well in the dishwasher and the finish looks brand new even after several runs through the dishwasher. It's big and great for all my mixing needs. Easy to use and remove. This gold metallic stainless steel bowl is by far the most beautiful and ornate mixing bowl I have for my KA. My 6 year old claims it looks like a trophy and he is not wrong! I am especially excited to use the gold for baking during the holidays as it is bright and festive. These wash up very easy though I recommend hand drying right away to prevent ugly water spots. I love everything about this bowl, but most of all its color! It is the perfect polished brass that is so hard to find and the picture does it no justice. As far as fit and quality are concerned I find it to be exactly the same as all the KitchenAid bowls I have used previously and they are all excellent. Honestly, I did not realize the exterior was a copper tone. It is beautiful! I may not have ordered it had I realized but I am so glad it's here! I got this for my wife because she had some baking she wanted to do. The gold goes great with our kitchen that is mostly white with gold hardware. The construction of the bowl is very sturdy and well made. My wife loves the handle for it's portability. And since I do the cleaning, this thing is a breeze to clean. We love this thing! I am so happy I got this mixing bowl. It is perfect for making cookies. I now have two bowls and use them all the time. It is my number one go to kitchen tool as I not only use it for making cookies with my kitchen aid Mixer but I also use it whenever I have to hand mix anything quickly. It’s handle is very sturdy and has a wide opening lessening spills. I love having two as I can make a different holiday cookies all at one time without having to clean a mess. love the color!
