Reduce mixing time and the need to scrape ingredients down the side of the bowl with the tilt-head flex edge beater, which features a flexible edge that thoroughly scrapes ingredients into the bowl. A: i needed it to fit my k-5 lift not tilt, it didn't. i don't think it will fit your 4.5. a warning tho, there is another company that has a wider selection of scaper paddles-they're plastic. so far i have broken 2 on cookie batters that weren't really all that stiff. i called kitchenaid, they don't make one for me, but might for you.

It’s a great attachment actually until the white coating began chipping off after 15 months of normal use. Super disappointed because I got ten years at least out of my last paddle attachment.

The white coating chips off! Need a stainless steel model. DO NOT BUY the WHITE beater! It chips off around where it attaches to the mixer and along the outside of the beater. This also happened with the regular beater as well. The white coating chips off into food.

Bought this mixer off your website Feb 2023 now 2 years later when i plug it in it won't turn off. I can push the speed selector to the off position, but it wont stay. Just now making 1 single loaf of bread it vibrated itself off my counter and fell onto my tile floor chipping my tile. What if my cat or baby were right there!? Now whenever I plug it in it trips the circuit breaker. My mother had a KitchenAid for 10+ years and mine wont last 2. Fix this or you've lost me and future generations as customers.
