I suggest giving this a try if you have a pro 6 qt lift bowl mixer. I have RKP26M1XCS, which is a 6qt pro lift bowl in Cocoa Silver from Macys, and I got this beater to verify the fit since it states it’s compatible with other 6qt pro lift bowl models. It fits great in mine and scrapes the sides wonderfully as intended. The only reason I found as to why they state it’s only compatible with specific similar models is the compatible version is 500 watts (artisan) and mine is 575 watts (pro, a little more powerful). So I’ll just use the beater with care, probably not on the highest speeds.

This is a must have if you’re a baker gets the sides of the bowl so clean and you don’t have to stop and scrape and stop and scrape highly recommend one

When making the frosting, the double flex edge beater made the process so much cleaner. I was impressed with the homogeneous quality of the frosting as there were no pockets of un mixed chocolate and sugar. I would definitely recommend getting one for all of your frosting and light batter mixing requirements.

Didn’t incorporate it without scraping down. Got this. Works perfectly. It’s like a double squeegee for the sides. It works so well, and saves time. I would totally recommend it.

The rubber paddle add is like using a spatula to blend with. It blends the food a little creamier and scrapes the bowl for a better overall blend of the recipe.

While it doesn’t replace the need for scraping down the sides of your bowl, I feel like it does assist in a more thorough mixing. However, since it does sort of touch the sides of the bowl, I found that I have to take the attachment off in order to really scrape the sides. Not a huge deal as it’s not hard to take the beater off and put it back on, but it is an extra step. On my older tilt-head, I’d often use the whisk attachment for making icings to help break down the butter. I recently made icing for a spice cake where the whisk just did not do the job (partly my fault because I didn’t leave the butter out long enough to warm up), so I switched to the bowl scraper attachment so that I could try to use the friction between the silicone scraper and the sides of the bowl as well as heat from a warm dishcloth on the outside of the bowl. A few applications of the warm cloth broke that butter down and resulted in the prettiest, smoothest icing I’ve ever made. I definitely would have been at the mixer for a lot longer if I had stuck with the whisk attachment, so I’m really glad to have this bowl scraper attachment. It’s so versatile!

The rubber on the attachment prevents you from having to frequently stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl. It’s a nice upgrade and feature to have as an attachment for the stand mixer and the clean up is easy.
