My soup was ruined but I was impressed with the power and abilities of the blender. Kitchenaid replaced the part at no cost thanks to their warranty. All in all pretty satisfied minus dinner being ruined.

Used it 10 times in 1 year, to blend bananas, boiled veggies. Motor dead, overheats in 5 seconds, handle feels hot. Unable to find warranty info ANYWHERE

I bought this for myself as a little birthday treat. I have a big bulky blender and this is a good way to have a blender without it taking up so much storage. It's so much easier using this than trying to pour hot liquids into my other blender. I used it to make potato soup today and I love it so much already. It got the tomatoes chopped up small enough and I’m sure if I needed it to be puréed it would work great. It didn’t break on me or feel flimsy at all and the noise was pretty mild. I’ve always wanted a hand blender and am so excited for other recipes to come!!

It’s not as powerful as the older model not even half way good enough. I was making making creamy mashed potatoes and it just kept clogging and would stop working took 3x the amount of time
