Kitsch Castor Oil Nourishing Solid Conditioner Bar - 2.7oz

The entire bar is pretty much melted in less than a couple weeks use. I store it as recommended but when trying to use it, it turns into mush. The shampoo bar is fine, but this was not worth the price or even comparative to ONE bottle of conditioner.

I don’t love it, but I do like this conditioner. The shampoo bar is fabulous, but they aren’t quite there with this conditioner bar. It swells and then just crumbles. If you can manage to work it into the hair, it does an okay job, but honestly it’s difficult to use and because it crumbles a lot of it is wasted. I went through this so much faster than a pump conditioner. For reference, the package claims the shampoo and conditioner bars are good for about 100 washes. I’d say I get about 40 or so from the shampoo bar doing just my scalp, and maybe 30 doing the mid length-ends with the conditioner and trying to be sparing about it. For the price, it’s absolutely cheaper to get a salon brand in a bottle.

This bar is way too oily! Leaves hair feeling heavy and wet looking even when fully dry. Will not buy again.

I've been the castor oil shampoo bar every other wash with the rice water protein shampoo for the last 5 months. Saying that it has helped my hair is an understatement! Long gone are the little dead, frizzy flyaways, and my hair is so shiny! The best part is that I can visibly see my hair getting thicker and can feel the new hairs on my scalp! It also smells amazing!

I am really happy about all the products I purchased. I like them so much that I keep offering them and then I need to buy them again 😂 It s really a great product, great smell and leaves my hair super soft. Yuka notes it 79/100 excellent.

I was skeptical first as I have never tried a solid conditioner before. I wasn't sure how to use it first but just running it over the hair makes it very easy to apply. It'so creamy! I have bleached hair with hair extensions and my hair feels healthy and silky smooth. I'm definitely ordering again.

This is amazing on my perimenopause hair. lol I love in Florida and we've got really hard water and this conditioner can take it. It makes my hair feel so wonderful and the scent is the best thing I've ever smelled. I highly recommend!

Convenient and nice touch after wards but too expensive for how long it lasts.

I was grateful to be able to test out the castor oil conditioner, which I thought would be a great companion to the castor oil shampoo! (I asked for the specific CS study review link via email, but never got a response, so posting here). My fine hair can be somewhat dry and/or frizzy, especially during the summer or after blow drying. It helped my hair feel slightly less dry and frizzy, however, after several uses, I decided that it wasn't a good match for my fine hair. It seemed to weigh it down. The scent is amazing, but the bar is oily/greasy in the bag and never seems to completely dry out (unlike all my other bars). It just isn't for my hair! Maybe I'll use the rest as a shave butter or as a monthly treatment. I will stick to the shea butter conditioner for regular use.

What a difference this had made on my very dry gray/white hair! I have bra strap length single layer hair that I have been battling to keep from dryness and frizz. This shampoo along with the rosemary oil treatment has been just what I've been looking for! Thank you 💐 Joy D.

This bar's half moon shape fits comfortably in my palm and its deep grooves prevent it from slipping out of my hands during the shower. I would describe the scent as earthy, warm, and spiced, and it lingers on the hair for several hours. I can activate the conditioner by rubbing the bar on my hands or directly on my hair, but I prefer using my hands because I like to concentrate it on certain areas. It generates a good lather that makes me feel confident the bar will last through many washes. However, it does crumble easily so I try to keep it away from water and any moisture as much as possible. The conditioner rinses out thoroughly and doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy. I found that it provides light moisture to my thick, extra dry hair. I didn't notice any difference in terms of detangling and frizz. I still had to put in some effort to brush my hair out after the shower. Overall, this is a great pick for anyone who is a frequent traveler or who is trying to be more eco-conscious with their purchases.

This is the perfect addition to the castor oil shampoo! It is luscious, it soothes and reduces frizz. I find it acts similar to the rice water conditioner

The smell is awesome, first and foremost! Next, some info about me. I'm a melanated beauty with thick, dense, and curly/coily hair. Always very thirsty and I also suffer with scalp psoriasis. After using the shampoo, I squeezed out some access water and went in with this. Initially I was a bit concerned about how much hydration I would get, but as I rubbed the bar throughout and went in to emulsify, it felt pretty great. Not a super heavy feel, but my curls were loving the hydration as I let it sit for 5-7 mins or so. Definitely want to make sure you thoroughly rinse, but I'm really happy with how my curls looked and felt after getting out of the shower! A winner so far, look forward to using it again

Was able to try the castor oil s&c and was a big difference for my curls. I have wavy/curly hair and generally doesn't hold curl very well without lots of product. Was able to test and used very little products and allowed my hair to air dry. Hair felt much softer, less frizz, and more defined curls that held longer. Will definitely be adding to my routine
