After ensuring a full charge and following the instructions to get the color to flow, nothing comes out of the nozzles. Trying multiple times nothing comes out but the color level indicator has dropped as though product has been used. Would love to try a new one if possible!

I received the L’Oréal Paris colorsonic hair color device and hair color cartridge for review and I would say I am pretty impressed with the device. I really like how they provided the handout with step by step instructions and even provided QR code to watch an instructional video. That’s so awesome and helped me feel at ease and more comfortable using the device for the first time. The device is pretty sleek and I like that it is not very huge and bulky. It does not feel very heavy or difficult to hold while you’re using it. I like the concept of having different cartridges that you can buy for the device. I feel like the device coated my strands well and gave me a pretty good result at home vs having to go to the salon. I really like that you have the option to store away the extra dye you have and reuse it later so you aren’t wasting the dye like you would if you used already mixed box dye. My main concern with the device was how it would work on my curly/kinky hair. I was worried it would be a struggle but I made sure to detangle my hair VERY well and it was not difficult to use this device on my hair type. So I would just remind anyone with more coarser textures to make sure you take your time and really prep your hair before to ensure you get a good result and ease of use with this device. Another reminder I would give is to make sure to release the button to prevent dripping otherwise it could get messy. If you follow the instructions the use is very simple & This makes for an easy at home color experience and you also get really good results as well. Would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the product. It was packaged nicely and came in perfect condition. I have curly hair that can get tangled easily. So I sectioned my hair I opposition to the instructions and think I got really good coverage. The shade was pretty spot on. I went from copper to auburn. The smell wasn’t too bad. Not much different than you typical box dye.

It’s pricey but worth it, if you color your hair like clockwork. The process to clean the tool was also very quick .. and the application was smooth.

It didn’t smell super chemically either which I liked as well. Might actually use this again once day! Gave it 4 stars due to the price. It’s a little steep for the applicator and the cartilages.

In this day and age where everything is getting so incredibly expensive I was really looking forward to a product that would help me maintain professional looking color without having to go to a salon. The package gives you everything you need including gloves, and a handy cleaning cartridge. The only additional product you need to buy is the color cartridge of your choice. The instructions for using the applicator are very easy to understand. When you start the processing it is incredibly easily. I found it a little more time consuming than what I was expecting but overall not too bad. If you are someone who uses a singular color to maintain your hair. I highly recommended using this application process. It was a little tricky to get the back, but I feel like that was my issue and meticulousness not the fault of the machine. I also feel this is something that will get easier the more often I use it and become more comfortable with it. I am hoping that they come out with more color options with it. I’ve only had the color on for a few days and can not speak to the longevity of the color application. Excited though for what is to come. Would recommend if you are someone who is trying to save a little money at the salon. I was very pleased with the end result.

I think this would world fine for root touch-ups for both straight and curly hair, which is what I did. Packaging was eco-ish friendly. Much easier to mix than with a traditional box dye. Strong scent though. PS need to charge unit before using!

But make sure to allow time to charge the device fully ahead of time. My photos are the before and after. I’m glad it didn’t stain my scalp. My hair was quite shiny. The smell of the product was just ok. I have grays by my hairline that are always tough to cover, so next time I will take extra care to put more color at the hairline to ensure better coverage. The packaging can be used to store your device. I will certainly use it again between salon trips.

The application was smooth and easier to apply evenly than a squeeze bottle. I will be using again. Hair came out shiny and the smell was tolerable for a hair color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of this product seemed great. However, the application process did not live up to my expectations. The product is big and bulky making the accuracy of the application not as good as if I were to use a regular brush. It was messy and drippy but is easy to clean which is great! However, since using black dye, I did have to also clean my sink promptly after to avoid staining which I normally wouldn’t have to using other dye processes.

I have long hair and it took me awhile but had no issues using the device. I typically get dye everywhere when I dye my hair but not with this. Definitely would recommend to wash as soon as you are done as per the instructions.

Need more shades to be introduced and the scent for me is not too overpowering. Would recommend for beginners with home hair coloring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out the L’Oréal Colorsonic Hair Color Device since it came out! I have naturally dark hair with moderate gray at the roots. I go to the salon every 6-8 weeks for touch ups. The Colorsonic device was packaged neatly and the instructions were easy to follow. I was able to color my roots by myself. It did not give off a strong smell. Cleanup was easy. The included hair conditioner left my hair very soft. I would use this regularly to save on the trips to the salon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually have a hard time coloring my own hair at home because my hair is so long and I usually make some sort of a mess but this time I used L’Oréal Paris Colorsonic and it is a total life changer for me! If you are looking for an easy way to color your hair at home than give this product a try! This is a really easy 3 step process , choose what hair color cartridge you want to use, pop the cartridge into the Colorsonic and then just press the button to apply the hair color to your hair. It’s as easy as brushing your hair. One thing I liked was that I didn’t have to mix any chemicals myself. I like that the Colorsonic bristles evenly distribute the color and my hair looks like I got it professionally done at the salon! The cartridge has enough hair color in it for up to 3 applications or up to 3 root touch ups. The Colorsonic is easy to charge with the usb cable and no batteries are needed. It’s also small enough that it doesn’t take up too much room to store it when not using it! I definitely recommend this product to others! It has been very exciting to try and I know it has become apart of my hair care routine! I’ve received many compliments on how well my hair looks after using! Thank you # L’Oréal #Influenster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this product! For at home applications, makes it a LOT less messy. Instructions were fairly easy to follow, though it does take a bit of time to clean the device after (which you definitely want to do right away), but I will definitely use it again. My hair felt very smooth after as well/not broken, and a cartridge was enough for a whole head even with having a lot of hair (thicker than it looks). Price is a bit steep (though I didn’t have to worry about that), but it is something to keep in mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not 100% sure about this wand. The good: It wasn't hard to setup. The videos and instructions were easy to follow. I didn't have a problem with leaking I've seen in other reviews. The bad: as I was applying, dye would run down my face. I'd reach up to contain it and then my glove would be covered in dye that wild end up on the tool. Trying to put the long end adapter on the tool with dye covered hands was a disaster. Ironically the color wasn't different enough for me to be able to determine coverage! The first pic is before and the second after. I'll try another color to see but I'm not confident the tool made coverage any better then just using a comb and my hands. It didn't feel intuitive enough to set aside the helping hands I prefer when I dye my hair. It also needs a case. The box is huge but there are too many parts to just throw it in a drawer. Overall, it's too expensive for the hassle it creates.
