I have fairly sensitive skin, as many with facial redness do, and my skin did not tolerate this Redness Eraser. I've seen it do a beautiful job on others, however my skin became inflamed and so uncomfortable that I had to wash it off. I've discovered that my face cannot tolerate Niacinamide, and it seems to be in SO many products, even ones claiming to be for sensitive skin. Sadly, my hunt for an effective redness reducer continues on.

I will absolutely be repurchasing this. This is by far the best primer. I have ice pick acne scars it makes a difference and blurs it. Trick is to let it set for a couple of minutes before applying foundation like with all primers it will pill a little if you don’t let it sink in for a couple of minutes. . I love everything about it-the scent, and the fact that it’s not that silicone slip and slide primer. I hate that greasy feeling. I love the consistency and It absorbs beautifully onto the skin and then put the foundation and you are flawless. I think this is absolutely worth it if it wasn’t a little steep in a price I would buy a bunch to have. It is worth the price though in my opinion, love it.!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does a great job at blurring the skin and therefore minimising the size of pores. They look a lot less obvious. Make up goes on over this really well. I thought it would work well for my oily skin but it's a little too heavy.
Ruined my makeup. Top of my arm is this primer with the true match foundation, bottom of my arm is just the true match foundation by itself.

Bought this primer as the infallible primer was discontinued. Absolutely devastated with the results. It’s horrendous! Never mind minimising my pores - it made every single one more noticeable. It also made trying to apply my foundation really difficult. Please bring back the infallible primer!

First time I tried this I hated it. It did not hide my pores and made my skin actually look worse. I tried it again today and after fiddling with the application, it worked better. I made sure my skin was moisturized and I only used a small amount. I let it dry for about 10 minutes and then applied my bb cream. My pores looked smaller but still visible. This didn't sink into my lines but it didn't accentuate them either. I wouldn't buy this again. I think I'll stick with my e.l.f matte primer. It's less expensive and works great.

I don't usually leave reviews but I always read them before buying, so I thought I could help somebody. I loved this product! It really gave the blur effect, closing the enlarged pores and making the makeup last all day. I wouldn't buy it based on the reviews here but I decided to try it anyway. I have normal skin, not oily. Conclusion: Every skin is different and has different results. Try it on your skin

I tried this pore minimizer multiple days in a row with three different moisturizers (making sure it wasn’t that causing a problem). Each day my makeup looked cakey and every single penny nose was highlighted, front and center, with all my foundation going into it. So disappointing.

I was excited to try this primer as it has so many positive reviews, but this did not work for me at all. My liquid makeup looked splotchy on top of this no matter how I applied the primer (I’ve tried three times now). This primer is very “dry” so I tried applying small dots on my face and then gently rubbing those in, but my makeup still looked splotchy and awful. I actually just washed it all of my face so I can start over and not use this primer. My makeup has the same base as the primer, so I’m not sure why this was so bad.

This primer oxidizes and pills under/over everything! I've tried several moisturizers, susncreens, and foundations under/over this stuff and it oxidizes and pills every. single. time. It makes my makeup look awful. I'm so bummed.

Dries before you ever apply correctly. When I tried doing it in small sections it looked splotchy. Did not work well with either powder or liquid it looked like someone left the remnant of an eraser on my face

If you’re using this primer on its own- I think it’s great. I can noticeably see my pores/fine lines disappear and it feels moisturizing. BUT, using this under liquid foundation is a big fat NO! I have a theory that maybe it works better with powder foundation?… but I strictly use liquid and it makes it look absolutely horrible. It gets cakey and makes your skin look like it’s peeling!

I have very oily skin and wanted to give this a try since the L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base Face Primer is no longer being sold in stores. After a few hours, my skin appeared much more oily. This product did help my pores when first applied.
