This build is really pretty and I passed it up 2-3 times before buying it. However it's been incredibly frustrating to put together. The base piece that holds the bird on the stand is absolutely awful and I haven't been able to finish the build. I have tried moving stuff or rebuilding but nothing works and I'm so annoyed, as it's a really pretty piece . The yellow and 2 brown pieces are what will NOT stay.

This one wasn’t particularly difficult, the instructions have a few blips in them but the build is easy to figure out. It took me a few hours to build it. Some of the pieces are even moveable, which is pretty cool. Great value

i absolutely love the way this looks once built, but the building was quite tedious at times. i would try to connect something and multiple pieces would disconnect or fall off - other times, the piece i would put on would just break apart and i’d struggle to fix it all. HOWEVER, it was absolutely worth it and again, looks absolutely beautiful and i adore it.

This beautiful kingfisher was my first set since I came back to Lego as an adult. I’ve spent about 5 hours building it, and the whole process was super interesting, so thoughtful, and fun! The result is just amazing, I hope that Lego will make more bird models like this one. I’d highly refommend this set to anyone!
