Description
The Lifetime Kodiak Canoe, like its name implies, is a burly canoe that is as stable as it is strong. Built from blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) it is durable, UV-protected, and impact resistant. The hull was designed to defy the tippy canoe stereotype while retaining dependable on-the-water performance through tracking channels and a patented skeg wheel design which also assists with portability. For those looking for a performance boost, the Lifetime Kodiak is rated for use with an electric motor with a thrust rating of 40 lb. Simply assemble the included motor mount bracket and hit the water. The Kodiak includes two comfortable adjustable and removable seatbacks for the bow and stern seats while the center bench seat is suitable for accommodating a third paddler. This canoe will be perfect for your whole family!

Somewhat heavy for one person to top on car but my wife and I have a good system down that requires very minimal stuff and input to get it on top of our SUV. it is indeed stable with 2 adults and 2 kids under 5. moves smoothly through the water and easy to navigate. it is not long but generously wide which we love the width, it increases capacity very nicely for all our stuff. Have only done lakes, no rivers but we are getting confident to get this out on a river soon.

Bought this online took delivery on 06/30/20024. Have not put It in the lake yet . The quality is top self. Had canoes before never this wide. Dicks was good to deal with the first one had no wheel or skag on it they immediately replaced the entire canoe. Will write another review after it is in the water. My wife and I handle the weight just fine.

I purchased a Wasatch canoe recently and it came to me with the tracking skeg damaged. The store gave me some credit to take care of it and I was pleased and surprised that when I contacted Lifetime they offered the replacement parts no charge. Additionally, they let me know when the parts were pulled, shipped and sent tracking info for the shipment. I was very pleased with their service and support. You can often judge a company by how they handle a problem and they handled this one expertly with no fuss. I will definitely keep them in mind when purchasing my next canoe or kayak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great canoe. Lots of room. My husband is 6’ 4” and has plenty of leg room! We love the color as well. Very comfortable seats that give good back support. Only draw back is it is very heavy to get to the water. We are purchasing a canoe dolly that will hopefully help with that.
