Lifetime Tide 103 Sit-In Kayak (Paddle Included) - Lemongrass Fusion - 90848

I bought an Emotion Kayak before Lifetime bought them out. My kayak has a wheel skew which is really helpful while paddling it helps to “steer” straight. This fantastic company has replaced mine for me twice with NO cost (not even shipping!!!) so when it’s time to replace, I will definitely be choosing Lifetime!

I bought this kayak in 2015 as an entry level kayak, with the intention of replacing it with another once I figured out whether I really liked kayaking. Turns out, I LOVE kayaking, both on lakes and up to Class II+ rivers. And I LOVE this kayak. I have no intention of replacing it. I'll replace parts rather than the kayak as long as they are available.

My daughter brought my kayak in another town, than I live in. She had to travel about 150 miles to bring it to me. Along the way the hatch came off and the bungee strap broke. I called the company to order new parts. Dale, the service representative was very patient while I had to take pictures of the inside of the kayak to verify model number, etc. Then he said the parts would be in here in 7 to 10 days. I said wait, I need to pay for them. He there’s no charge! Thank you very much!!

I recently lost one of my kayak plugs and Darwin from Lifetime Customer Service was very helpful in sending me a new one at no charge! Excellent customer service Darwin and Lifetime!!

We love our kayaks! Since July of 2020 they have been used countless times on many adventures. The skeg wheel part did fall off one of the kayaks but customer service has been extremely helpful in getting those replacement parts to me. Thanks for the great customer service and great kayaks.

The other day my boyfriends kayak lost his skag, when I called customer service, Jonathon was extremely helpful and friendly and helped me find the correct replacement part so we can continue having great trips with our kayaks again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the SIS Lemongrass Revel 10 kayak in 2018 and it has been my go to boat for everything from relaxing floats down the river with my dog to fishing in still lakes. Plenty of room and stable and holds up to the beatings of a first time kayak owner. My wheel got stuck on some gravel and stopped turning and it wore down the back wheel but calling customer service was quick easy and the tech was able to place my order early while the part was on back order and gave me an estimated time frame for when it would be back in. It’s all covered under warranty. Love it! Great kayak and great company. Never been happier with a purchase.

My husband and I have purchased two Emotion Tide 103 kayaks a couple of months ago. We didn’t have much experience with kayaks before. So far we find kayaking very enjoyable and don’t have any problems with kayaks. They perfectly fit our Subaru Outback, steady on water, and look/feel durable. The bright green color is lovely.

I just got my kayak and have taken it out once. It seems great! -The gray clip for the seat came off. How do I reattach it? -The skeg wheel works great to wheel the kayak out of the garage and across the patio. Do you have suggestions on how I can best transport it the rest of the way to my pond? It's about 15' across the lawn and I hope the wheel will work there as well. There is another 15' through wild grasses and flowers that is very uneven ground. My daughter suggested carrying it on it's side with my arm and shoulder in the hatch. I'm a 71 year old female so I might have to bulk back up! Thanks!

The padded leg rest, foot rest, little wheel for towing, and lightweight paddles all make these superior to other models and brands. Considering to buy two more for guests to use!

I have had this kayak for 3-4 years and love it! I especially love the wheel as I often kayak alone and it makes it much easier to maneuver. Had the side pads wear out and couldn't find them anywhere online, but wrote the company and they are sending some out. Great customer service!!!

I bought 4 Kayaks and have enjoyed 3 of them. According to Lifetime's policy I have 10 days to report shipping damage. I emailed Lifetime the day after I received these kayaks in which one was damaged due to shipping and haven't heard anything back in a week. I've tried to call and I can't get through due to Covid 19 short staffing. I totally understand the Covid 19 issues but a week with no response is a little ridiculous. I can't believe for the cost of these kayaks they don't even send any padding to protect them in shipment. As my picture shows this is exactly how they come minus the 4 straps that were around the box which you can see from the picture cut through the box and damaged the kayak. As far as the other 3 Kayaks my family and I enjoyed the 3 but had to take turns over our 4th of July weekend since the one kayak was damaged. The Kayaks are as good as any other kayak out there in this price range if it shows up undamaged.

My fault for not removing it prior to driving but I reached out to Lifetime expecting to pay a ridiculous price for such a little part, but, to my surprise the CSR decided to give me the warranty replacement part. This little act right here has guaranteed me as a lifetime brand customer.

I bought this kayak a couple weeks ago and I use it for river fishing.I have landed quite a few fish already including 3 pike that where over 29 inches.It was missing the bag when I bought it but customer service is easy to work with! I would recomend it I love the skeg wheel.It is a little tippy compared to my sundolphin but still great.

We are so glad to have this kayak. Such good quality and many great features. Where do I start? Lightweight. So easy to transport with the wheel on the bottom. It usually takes two people with our other kayaks. With this one, one person can easily carry it. We like the positions of the handles, very sturdy. Glides through the water nicely. Cool color. Comes with a paddle.

The one sentence review for the Tide kayak is that it is awesome! There were a few things I didn’t like but the overall design, appearance and performance of this kayak hit the mark. First, here is what isn’t working so well for me with this kayak? I feel like the hatch cover is too small for the size of this kayak. At a diameter of 7” or 8” you won’t be fitting any bulky gear in through the hatch. Another thing I don’t like, is that the dark blue interior color wasn’t fully covered by the exterior yellow and green coats in an obvious spot on the front of the kayak. Finally, I don’t like that the paddle keeper clip on the side of the kayak is recessed which can make it difficult to push the bungee cord down onto the clip and secure the paddle. Now on to what I like about this kayak. This kayak just looks really good in my opinion. The unique yellow and green color combination clearly stands out. Plus, the design of this kayak means it is really stable and I never felt like I was going to tip over. The skeg wheel is awesome and makes it easier to roll the kayak around on smooth surfaces. Plus the skeg wheel assembly actually creates a small fin on the rear of the kayak which also improves tracking on the water too. The seat and cockpit are generously padded which will make longer trips a lot more comfortable. I also really like that the foot braces can be adjusted and fine tuned in the middle of the lake with their long handles that you can easily reach while sitting in the kayak. Overall, despite the things that I didn’t like this kayak has proven it is a blast to use on the water. It gets you where you want to go quickly and efficiently. I also like that this kayak proved to be very flexible with its adjustable seat and foot pegs to accommodate different sizes of paddlers. Plus, at 48 lbs it isn’t so heavy that you are breaking your back getting it to and from the lake. The Emotion Tide Kayak is a blast on the water. I have several other kayaks as well as a couple paddle boards and this kayak has quickly become my favorite to take out on the lake!

This is a great Kayak and it is the perfect size. I was worried that it wouldn't fit on the top of my vehicle because it is a smaller SUV but it fits perfect. It is very the perfect size for my kids to be able to paddle around as well. I have been involved with water sports for most of my life and this kayak definitely has a lot of features that make it worth the money. I used this along side an inflatable kayak and this one is hands down much better in the water. Tracks very nice and is easy to move around on the water. This is also my first sit inside kayak and I was't quite sure how I was going to like it but it has been great so far. Another great feature are the carry handles that really make it easy to transport. It was very easy to get on and off my vehicle which I was worried about as well because the majority of the time I will be doing this myself but because of the light weight this was not a problem. The seat is very comfortable and provides a lot of support for my back which is great because I do use this on extended trips and the support is perfect. The seat was still very comfortable with a life jacket on as well.
