A: NO, Target Support!!!!!!! The large size refills absolutely DO NOT fit all size pails. Target replaced the perfect standard size refills with the large size, so I can no longer buy them at Target.

Q: So as I understand it these are made for Litter Genie refills and will fit at least the midsize or regular but my question is do these also fit the extra large bigger Genie size containers?

A: The two incompatible versions are the Litter Genie Easy Roll and the Litter Genie XL (discontinued and replaced with the Litter Genie XL+, which is compatible.)

TLDR: each cartridge lasts me 2 months of twice daily scooping for 2 litter boxes/3 cats. Contains smell better than regular trash bags. I have the Litter Genie Ultimate, purchased from Target in Nov 2024 & these fit perfectly. For awhile, I had decided I didn’t want to spend the extra month on refills & just gerry-rigged regular trash bags in an empty cartridge. It technically works, but it doesn’t hold the smell at all. These refills contain the smell way better. I have 3 cats sharing 2 boxes, so I scoop twice a day & each cartridge lasts me about 2 months. It breaks down to about $5 per month, which is worth it to me!

I had some box liners but they were way too big. These fit perfectly The only thing is - maybe because my cats paw the side of the box, the edges fall inside and I have to pull them out and tuck them under. I finally cut some short lengths of electrical tape - problem solved!

They randomly changed the size of the product and now it does not fit my litter genie. It is a shame because these were my go-to refills but I guess I'll have to order refills through Amazon now.

As someone else said, this was a Bait and Switch. I loved the old Up and Up litter pail refills. These new ones DO NOT FIT! and they lie about which pails they'll fit. Someone should be fired over the lies they told and also fire whoever made the stupid decision to change from the old ones, which I bought for years and fit perfectly. I am returning these. I bought the correct size elsewhere, not Up & Up brand.

Everyone says how these do not fit but they fit my litter genie perfectly! I just bought it and inserted so actually haven’t tried out yet to see how the quality of the bag is but so far seems great and you get 2 for the price of one! I’m pleased so far unless the bags easily rips then I’ll be quite disappointed

Target, why did you have to replace the regular size with a jumbo size and not just sell two different sizes?! The jumbo refills !DO NOT! fit the litter genie XL and several other litter genie pails, so some of us are stuck with the regular size. Bring them back!!!!
